Well that was quick.

Just a few our ago French Montana dropped the Drakeassisted “No Shopping” where the 6 God threw a few shots at Joe Budden, Budden must’ve already had a third diss in his arsenal as he’s just released “Afraid.”

On “No Shopping” Drizzy raps “Pump, pump, pump it up/ She got a good head on her, but I pump it up/ I’m not a one hit wonder, they know all my stuff/ You let me turn into the n-gga that you almost was.”

On “Afraid” Joe takes the role of a mentor and the beat samples Drake’s “The Resistance” with the screwed chorus “What am I afraid of?/ You promised me you would never change” playing in the background.

Gone are the hard-hitting digs which are replaced with words of wisdom when Joe raps bars like these:

I just feel like you broke a promise to me

Only hurt cause I thought you were being honest with me

So I’m gon’ try and do this honorably

Without the sponsoring fee what’s most alarming to me

This so emotional for you, robust such the calm in me,

Easy to put off notes in thugs harmony

Speak to his insecurity, acting so irresponsibly

Listen to “Afraid” below and let us know who you think is winning this battle so far:
