Frank Ocean’s Next Album Is Underway

    Frank Ocean

It looks like Frank Ocean is busy working on his Grammy-winningChannel Orange” followup. he said in an interview to the BBC recently.

“I’m 10, 11 songs into this next thing,” he said. “It’s another cohesive thing, bordering on a concept record again.” According to SPIN, he is working with Pharrell Williams in the studio as well. A la Kanye West when he recorded “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” in Hawaii, Ocean is recording some of his upcoming album in Bora Bora, and he is going for a more “beach theme.” Fancy.

Danger Mouse is on his list of people to work with, as well as England’s King Krule.

His first effort, “Channel Orange” was widely critically-acclaimed. Let’s see if he will be able to live up to the hype the second time around.
