Use your heads ppl she is fighting a bill that says she has to pay the artist to play their music…she gets “RICH” from their music. People listen to her stations because of their music…why wouldnt you pay the people you are profiting from???? Forget race this it just Greed. No disrepect, but she acting like they are taking her stations off welfare.

don’t beleive the hype….artist should get paid not to make “other” live large, and thats what its all about, black radio is not in danger. PAY THE ARTIST DAM IT!!

maybe it’s just me but does anyone else notice this bill didnt come about til satellite radio said they pat money to use music so why cant the other guys do it? if you ask me this isnt bout driving black radio out of business as much as it is about making people pay for satellite radio to hear what they want to because the free stations wont be around or wont play it anymore since they cant afford it

I’m appalled by how our own people and democrats, voted for the bill to basically shut down our stations. I’d at least thought that they’d be against it. They will not stop, until they find out that they can’t find a station playing either a Temptations or a Kurt Franklin song. I hope people like this bill, since they won’t be any more R&B or Gospel music station to listen to.
