Actor turned rapper Tray Chaney is back with a new visual to his thought-provoking song “Be Yourself” from his “Hungry Humble Honest” EP (available on iTunes).
Directed by “Champion Studio” and produced by Knottyland Music, Chaney bridges the gap between his real life hustle and the character he played on HBO’s “The Wire.”
“It’s a statement record telling individuals that it’s cool to be yourself,” he told TheUrbanDaily.com “Don’t live your life like somebody that you’re not, but it’s edgy. It’s Tray Chaney meets ‘Poot’ from ‘The Wire’ but with no cursing, not degrading of women, but still great content.”
