It never ceases to amaze me how if I like a cat, I’m dickridin’, if I don’t, I’m hatin’. Drake is doing nothing to further the cause of hip hop; in fact, he is merely copying other rappers. I ain’t go through all of the responses, but, I’m sure that somebody has noticed how he looks, also. THAT’S what’s being promoted: his clean-cut appearance. I ripped “The Best I Ever Had” as soon as I heard about it, and I ain’t impressed…PEACE.

The last time I saw hype around an unsigned rapper like this was when 50 signed to Interscope, but 50 had put in madd work years prior and had a huge underground catalog of work before getting signed to a major label, and even had a album released before hitting pay dirt.

This guy has a hit record out and niggas proclaiming him the second comming of whatever, he sounds like T-pain or Wayne. I aint heard anything worthy to match the hype surrounding him.

I aint never been the type to hate or anything like that…but dude is overrated as hell…i heard some of his songs…and to be honest he sounds like a lil wayne clone…all of his flows are the same and i havent seen many signs of versatility…while it doesnt take much talent wise to be a superstar in the game today…i do agree that he is far better than 90% OF THE rappers spitting today…but if he can fix his negatives I have no doubt can become a pretty decent artists…but i mean hey….i could be completeley wrong….I mean they are offering him 2million dollars…
