She got personal advice from a star. Being someone who is in the biz, he was very nice in his tone and complimented her on her voice. He was very honest and she received something many would die for. People hate Simon on ANI or whatever, but he is typical.

the buggles had it right, 30 years later, it’s more evident now than ever.

the “music business” is more about business than it is about music.

it shouldn’t matter if she’s fit, she’s a singer, not a marathon runner – but he told her the truth and provided some other valuable advice, as well.

Sadly Ne-Yo is right the main stream music business is very shallow right now. Back in the day looks didn’t matter as much as they do now. Many artist today wouldn’t be where they are without their looks and technology.

I am all for keepin it real, but my problem is this why do people always have to be about weight it should be about if the person can sing or not which there are a lot of women singer’s that can’t really sing in the game but aslong as they look good then it’s ok with everyone, and at the sametime why is it a lot of BIG MEN singin and nobody has anything to say about a guys weight? it’s just crazy!
