There are real artist that has been around 4 yrs and neva got credit dat they deserve like, boot camp clik (buckshot, o.g.c (originoo gunn clappahz), heltah skeltah (ruck and rock), and smif n wesson), mf doom, immortal technique, zion because they refuse 2 conform to mainstream fans. Most women don’t even listen 2 lyrics n a song and if they do its usually the very simple lyrics that they can easily able to pick up. All they care about is shaking they butts and material things and don’t understand metaphors, similies, word play, compound syllables that sound alike, caedence, double layered meanings and da other complexities dat come wit being a lyricist. People think that jus because its popular, its get radio and tv play that its good and these are the people who don’t understand how it gets 4rm the studio to the air. Think about this…the devil is popular..does that mean he’s good?
