Lil Wayne’s manager Cortez Bryant has addressed the rap star’s Cash Money Records dispute in an Instagram post.

“[Lil Wayne] built Young Money from his dreams to reality,” Bryant said in the post. “Launched the careers of Drake, Nicki Minaj [and] Tyga, not from their talent, but from the believe in what he saw that they saw in themselves and put everything in making sure they fulfill[ed] their dreams! That’s what Young Money is about.”

“Wayne carried Cash Money on his back for over 10 years when he could have left and did this on his own,” he continued. “The most loyal person I know on earth! He don’t deserve the shit he’s going through at this point in the game.”

Bryant went on to say that he and Mack Maine, the president of the Young Money, “will not let this dream die.”
