After reportedly finishing the community service obligations preventing him from joining Trey Songz’s Between The Sheets Tour, Chris Brown tweeted his accomplishment to his 14 million followers.

Less than 24 hours later, an anonymous tip about his vehicle drew the attention of the Los Angeles Police Department. TMZ.com reported the following today:

‘Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … the LAPD got a call from someone saying Chris’ passenger was carrying a gun’. Chris was already inside Sayer nightclub in Hollywood, but the cops were able to coral the friend, detain him and search Chris Lambo. They found nothing.’

Five people were shot on January 11 during Brown’s ‘Capricorn Bash’ performance at San Jose’s Fiesta Nightclub. A Los Angeles Superior Court judge revoked Brown’s probation after the shooting due to Brown traveling without prior consent. The two Between The Sheets Tour dates scheduled for February 9 and February 10 in Charlotte and Greensboro, North Carolina were postponed until Brown could travel again.
