Jay Z verses are few and far in between nowadays, so when DJ Tim Westwood came through with an unreleased Hov verse from 2000, we all embraced the surprise.

The 16-year-old freestyle is full of bars and even features the line, “I’m Destiny’s Child, my fate’s been sealed,” which would later appear on “Who Shot Ya.” It also shows the legendary rapper predicted his future because two years later he began dating his future wife, Beyoncé.

The last few weeks have been amazing for Hov fans, with his guest verse on the remix to Fat Joe‘s “All The Way Up” and “I Got The Keys,” which featured two verses from the Roc Nation boss.

Mr. Carter raps braggadocio bars like, “Mind’s like the diamonds, I’ll blind you at them shows, I don’t shine, I glow, I remind you of that dough.”

Jay also recently celebrated the 20-year anniversary of the album Reasonable Doubt, which many claim to be his best work.

With Tim’s new theme of pulling a gem out of the crates every week to celebrate Throwback Thursday, we can’t wait to see what else he’s got planned.
