And here’s another reason why we rock with Donald Glover.

On the latest episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, comedian and beatboxing musician Reggie Watts taps the Atlanta star for an on-the-spot jam session.

“Reggie, did you have a question for any of our guests this evening?” Corden asks. “Yes, I do,” Watts responds. “Tonight’s question goes to” — the band plays a drumroll — “Mr. Glover . . . Have you ever considered, like, jamming any kind of a musical type of thing right now?”

What ensues can only be described as one of the best improvised performances we’ve seen all day.

Watch what happens when Watts lays down a beat above, and if you’ve been under a rock, you might want to check out Glover’s new show. Folks are already calling it the most critically acclaimed cable show of the year.
