VIA DX:

After splitting with Hip Hop group Crime Mob in 2007, Atlanta rapper Diamond is preparing for the release of her solo album.

I just finished my album. It’s supposed to come out late October, beginning November with Warner Brothers,” Diamond revealed to HipHopDX at a Madden 10 preview in Atlanta. “My first single is with Cee-Lo. My second one is with Keri Hilson. So I’m excited about it.”

The still untitled album will feature a number of guest appearances from the likes of Cherish, Three Six Mafia, Scrappy, and more.

Aside from her solo album, Diamond also plans on releasing several mixtapes next month. The first mixtape will feature Diamond and fellow female rapper Rasheeda while the second mixtape will feature Atlanta rapper Scrappy.

I have a mixtape out right now called P.M.S. (Pardon My Swag). In September, [Scrappy and I] are doing a mixtape called Mr. And Mrs. Smith. So it’s just about [the] visual right now. Keeping my stuff out there, showing that I’m working,” Diamond explained to HipHopDX.

Videos for both Diamond’s album and the mixtape with Rasheeda will be shot within the next few weeks.
