I’m an old feminist and I applaud you guys for having a national coalition for men. I have seen many men victimized by women (or other men) physically and in many other non-physical ways. The original aim of feminism was equality among the sexes and that includes men’s equality too.

For every story someone mentions about a women abusing a man, I can remember at least eight where women are abused or murdered. So no women don’t abuse men at the same rate as men abuse women. It really is not even close. Violence is never good; be it man, woman, or child. The point I’m trying to make is that women do not have to hit or attack a man for him to be violent against her. That stuff about men voices not being heard and the law does not favor them, Men are the stronger of the two sexes so I suggest they leave. You need to know the history of this country to really understand. For a long time women had to fight for equal rights because they where looked at as second class citizens and basically property. To be seen and not heard from, to be in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant. Yes men are prone to be more violent then women. The truth is that women do not abuse men at the same rate. Now women and kids is another issue.

TRUE EVENTS:
There was a white man who lived in Boston about ten years ago who took his pregnant wife to a crime ridden area shot and killed her and his unborn child. Then he tried to blame the crime on black men. There is a white police officer in IL that murdered two of his four wives, they have not found the body of the last one. During an argument a black man kicked the mother of his son in the back after an argument. His son was not strapped in the car seat she was carrying and fell to the ground from a third floor apartment. There is another black man about three years ago who hit his wife thirty times with a 2 by 4 while her kids where in the house. The doctor said she had to have suffered greatly before she died. Another black man was dating this young lady, she decided to end things he kept harassing her she was in the process of filing a restraining order on him. Soon after he found out about the restraining order he decided to go up to her church and while she was in a car talking with her friend he shot her multiple times which led to her death. Eddie Curry who plays in the NBA, the lawyer for the mother of his two kids started dating her. I believe the mother was going to get a new lawyer so for some reason this black man decided to murder his ex girlfriend and one of Eddie Curry’s kids. There was another white man who drove his wife and kids to an isolated area then he shot and killed all of them. He told the police that his wife started shooting the kids and he stopped her be fore she had the chance to kill him.

The point I’m trying to make is that women don’t have to hit a man for him to beat her or kill her it happens all the time. And just because someone else does something stupid does not mean that we as human being should stoop to their level.
