Ex-NBA star Jayson Williams accepted a plea deal for a 2002 manslaughter case where he accidentally shot a driver at his home. He can serve anywhere from 18 months to three years.

Williams retired from the NBA in 2000 after nine years of playing for the New Jersey Nets and Philadelphia 76ers. The plea deal would resolve all charges in a case that dragged out for nearly eight years.
