According to MTV.com, pending “good behaviour” Lil Wayne will be released from Rikers Island.Weezy was sentenced to one year in prison on March 8,2009 for pleading guilty to criminal possession of an illegal firearm. He’s currently serving his time at Rikers Island. Although Weezy was found earlier with contraband (an mp3 player,charger and headphones-duh, how else would you be able to listen?) he is on target for an early release on November 4 and just in time for Nicki Minaj’s album release!
