UPDATE: Rob From Day 26 Responds To Gay Tweet

Rob From Day 26 called in to HipHopDetroit.com to refute the Tweet that said he was gay.

“I know haters gotta job…I like women.”

Here is the Tweet in question:

Wow, is twitter the ultimate social network? Celebrities can even come out the closet this way! That’s right Robert, there is nothing wrong with being gay!

However, the Twitter account disappeared not long after this tweet went up, so let’s treat this just as a rumor…. for now!

    who cares? this wouldnt be news any where else but black planet. why? because no one else even cares about some popsickle mtv band that just isnt good enough for the charts. I dont think Ive ever heard them on the radio.

    who cares? if he is that’s his biz! if he is i just hope he can find the happiness in himself to be whom he is in public gay or otherwise!…….now after listening to him, he sounds like he’s stuttering and dancing around questions that lead me to believe he’s lying about not being gay. he’s doing too much to convince us otherwise. i’ve been called many things in my life but they don’t bother me because i know them to not be true. the only time verbal assaults hit a nerve is if there’s some validity to them.

    LOl Its 2010, things like this don’t come as a surprise to me much. I think the scrutiny lies in the areas of being a established artist. There are issues that they may possibly face in the public as a group. Gay/Bi sexual orientation are accepted orientations by mere enviroment. For example: Florida may be more accepting than Memphis. The city’s bigger, so more people, mor culture, or orientation culture shock. With most male groups, male artist: the audience forte would be(women) pre-dominantly of all areas and cultures. For women artist vice versa with (men) as the pre-dominate audience. Great Story- Chris/ C.J.M.
