According to Film Drunk, screenwriters John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein have signed on to write the sequel to Horrible Bosses. The two wrote the first film and New Line Cinema was more than happy to have them return. Jason Sudeikis, Jason Bateman, and Charlie Dayare all expectedto reprise their roles. New Line is also in talks to get Seth Gordon to use his directorial magic on the second installment as he did with the first one.

Although this sounds good on paper, how is that going to work? Are all three of the characters going to find new jobs with worse bosses than before or will a change of setting be the only thing to refresh the story? We’ll see soon enough.

The film finds the aforementioned characters banding together to stop The Boogeyman from turning children’s hopes and dreams into nightmares. The project will feature the voices of Alec Baldwin, Isla Fischer, Jude Law, Chris Pine, and Hugh Jackman. A script for the animated feature will be written by David Lindsay-Abaire. Peter Ramsay is slated to direct as well as executive produce alongside William Joyce and Guillermo Del Toro. ‘Rise of the Guardians’ is scheduled for release on November 21, 2012. Ten years ago today four commercial airliners were hijacked and used to coordinate one of the deadliest attacks on American soil in  the nation’s history.The hijackers intentionally crashed two of the airliners (American Airlines Flight 11 and United Flight 175) into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, killing everyone on board and many others working in the buildings. Both buildings collapsed within two hours.

The Terrorist hijackers crashed a third airliner (American Airlines Flight 77) into the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, just outside of Washington, D.C. The fourth plane (United Airlines Flight 93) crashed into a field near Shanksville in rural Pennsylvania, after some of its passengers and flight crew attempted to retake control of the plane, which the hijackers had redirected toward Washington, D.C. There were no survivors from any of the flights.

In total 2,993 people (click to read their names), including the hijackers, died in the attacks.

The first attack on the Towers in 1993 had been immortalized in rhyme (“Time to get paid, blow up like the World Trade“–Biggie, “Juicy”) but this time it was  different. It was more than a punchline, it was personal.

Almost immediately theories began swirling about the nature, motivation, and execution of the attacks and many hip-hop artists were at the forefront voicing skepticism, pain and in some cases pride. There was no consensus of thought or action. While some artists like Immortal Technique were one of the most outspoken skeptics,  rap crew The Dipset  inexplicably nicknamed themselves “The Taliban” after Al-Qaeda, the group that claimed responsibility for the attacks.

So today we’ve picked just a few from the vast array of reference to the 9/11 attacks that have appeared in rap lyrics over the years.

Forget driving Ms Dazy, when it comes to shuttling around celebrities it’s more like driving Ms Crazy. Not only do you have to drive the getaway car after nightclub shootings and take bribes to say the gun is yours, you might even get killed by a dumb ass basketball player playing with his gun.
Radio Program Director
This job is a magic trick to pull off because you have to dictate what people hear on the air but at the same time insist that you’re “giving the people what they want” when you play the same songs 20 times a day.

Mixtape/Mixshow/Club DJ

Not only are you at the mercy of the Program Director who insists you play bullsh*t, you have to sneak in some actually good music during your 1am to 4 am time slot and still have to confront the drug dealers turned record execs at your club gig who want to know why you aren’t playing their records at the day job.

A&R

You are essentially a hired scapegoat who is charged with finding new talent that the label will ultimately not release music from or totally under-promote. With Tom from Myspace trying to make you completely obsolete you pay your bills by leaking music. (see Product manager)

Radio Promotions

The record label pays you  to make sure a crappy  record gets airplay no matter what. (See Program Director.)

Publicist

You are paid to convince us that this artist is worth a damn when you know deep down they’re a tax write-off for the label. Your artists miss appointments and scheduled interviews forcing you to take editors to lunch and send apologetic Tweets. (See Blogger/Journalist)

Road Manager
When the publicist is off of baby-sitting duty you are the day-to-day pacifier for the artist and their entourage of ten. Your foreign currency conversion skills are unmatched because your artists insist on buying the latest Air Force Ones in Germany with Euros they won in backstage dice games. You may have to break the occasional paparazzi camera as well.

Product Manager
When your artist is too hung-over from a night of Patron and pill popping to take photos for their album cover you must find a way to photoshop them in or take one from their Myspace page. And pray to God that the record doesn’t leak or it’s your head.

Weed Carrier/Hype Man

Not only must you have the best Sour on you at all times, you must carry jewels and run to the store for Redbull and condoms at any hour of the night. You must also facilitate liaisons between the rapper and groupies. If you’re not smart enough to get yours first you must settle for sloppy seconds. Do your job well and  you may get a verse or two here or there.

Lawyer

You are the busiest person in entertainment. Whether it’s challenging paternity, civil suits for wrongful death or a nightclub shooting (see limo driver) your Batphone rings constantly. Even if you don’t win your case you must negotiate the rights for the reality TV show of their prison bid.

Party Promoter

You negotiate around outrageous bar guarantees with club owners and spend your days printing flyers and blasting emails about your events. Your hope is to get way more people to come than can actually fit in the venue and that no one gets shot waiting on the line outside.

Blogger/Journalist

You never sleep. Ever. You get dozens of emails a day from publicists to cover their artists but there are fewer and fewer outlets willing to actually pay you for your work. You’ve had to trade in your pen for an video camera having to compete with the same artists and their U-Stream channels for scoops. And thanks to Word Press everyone thinks they can do what you do. If it weren’t for open bar parties and checks from Google ads you’d quit today.

As impressive as the blazing footwork and choreography was, the most poignant moment came when Brown began sobbing during “Man In The Mirror.” Whether it was for Micheal or for his own transgressions, the tears were uncontrollable. Almost a year after being banned from the very same Awards show Chris Brown finished to applause that filled the stadium.

The first time I met Toccara Jones she was in a bubble bath. Since being chosen as the lucky reporter to interview Ms. Jones for her first KING magazine cover I’ve never passed on an opportunity to speak with the eye-catching model turned TV personality. A few weeks ago we hung out at a Lady Hennessy party sharing the latest gossip over some Mojitos but real conversations in dark clubs have never been my thing.

So on a lazy afternoon I gave the Ashley Stewart model a ring and asked her what was going on with her workout , going topless in Italian Vogue last year and what happened with her turn in the Vagina Monologues.  (originally published May, 2009)

TUD: You sound really comfortable. What are you up to right now?
Toccara: I’m just chilling with the family. We’re all on the couch laid up and talking and stuff. Trying to make plans to go to the pool or something. My momma is high yellow so she wants to tan and get brown like me. She’ll be a sugar baby.

Sounds like fun. So what made you become a member of the Lady Hennessy glam squad?
Hennessy has scholarships they give to kids and it’s like a customer appreciation thing. We’ll go to the core consumers in places like Chicago and sign autographs and things like that for loyal customers. The main consumers of Hennessy are men so they picked some really hot ladies to show their appreciation. We also try to get more women to try Hennessy with different mixers.

I didn’t see you drink that much at the party though.
That’s good, because I’m a lady [laughs].

Speaking of being a lady, talk to me about the “Vagina Monologues.” Weren’t you supposed to be on the tour with Deelishis and New York?

Unfortunately, my schedule didn’t permit me being a part of it. So I didn’t get to be on the tour. Hopefully next year I’ll get to do it. I was really looking forward to that. I was going to do the poem about Bob. He’s a vagina connoisseur and he liked to look at it.

What was it about that particular piece that interested you?
Hmmm, I just like it because it was about a woman who was uncomfortable with her vagina and then she ran into a guy who loved vagina and it just made her feel beautiful.

Have you had any “Bobs” in your life?
Well I am Bob. I love my vagina. I don’t need anybody to love my vagina for me.

You are very comfortable with your body indeed. You even posed nude for Italian Vogue last year. What was that experience like?
I get chills every time I talk about that photo shoot. It was the most amazing shoot I’ve ever had in my entire life. I just moved into a new apartment and I’m decorating it with nothing but Italian Vogue ! For them to pick me and to represent full figured women and to be a top feature with Naomi Campbell was amazing. And I tore it up!

I got nervous when I saw you in the trunk of that car. Reminded me of Kanye’s “Flashing Lights” video.
We were cranking out so many pictures and we were clicking so well that every single look we did made the magazine. But when we did the one in the trunk he told me to hold the position and stretch my neck. It was really uncomfortable, but that picture is fire

Then you were lifting a car up…
That was my first picture. We did that in five minutes and it was done. He was like next!

You know what my favorite is though, right?
I know which one.[laughs] You’re a guy. That [topless one] was cool but I wanted him to let me lift them up some more. They were all naturally hangin. I was like ‘let me pick ‘em up!’ and he said ‘no, no.’

When we first spoke for the KING cover you told me you were pouring your girls into a G cup. What part of the Alphabet are they in now since you’ve lost so much weight?

I’m still a G-G-G-G. 36G. The G stands for Goddess…

And “goodness gracious.” You were in great shape for that shoot. How is your workout DVD coming along?

It’s going absolutely fabulous. Everyone needs to go to iamtoccara.com and get their copy. I’m really proud of it and I want to do a whole line of workout DVDs:A striptease workout, a boot camp workout and cardio…

Speaking of striptease, one of our stylists June Ambrose has a stiletto workout, would you do that?
June Ambrose has a stiletto workout?? Oh my God I love her! She should have called me. I bowl in stilettos. I’m gonna have to check that out. A woman feels good when she’s in stilettos. I’m down for that.

When we first spoke someone special was cooking you mac and cheese and all that. Whose cooking for you now?

It’s lonely at the top. Ain’t nobody cooking for Toccara but Toccara.

We need to fix that, maybe start a contest to see who wants to cook for you.

As you know, Lloyd recently cut his hair AGAIN and tattooed his head. He was recently on 106&park showing off the new do and explaining why. He wanted to commemorate his grandfather, who passed.

It was later that Miguel tweeted about the new do saying it was a copycat move mentioning @Lloyd_YG. The so called ‘beef’ between Miguel and Lloyd about their hair has finally come to a head when the two were to perform on the same stage at Z1079 Cleveland’s Summer Jam this week.

Our backstage snitches were on it when Miguel burst into Lloyd’s dressing room making light of his tweet mention of Lloyd.

Our snitch tells us the exclusive…

“Miguel bursts into the dressing room while singing ‘The Wayans Brothers’ sitcom song… ‘We’re brother, we’re happy and we’re singing and we’re colored…’ While he laughs in greeting him. Lloyd was not laughing and immediately shut it down by asking him why he would tweet such a thing. The tension was definitely thick and the two try to hash it out but at the end… it doesn’t seem like the two will want to share a stage again.

I felt like it was disrespectful… cheap and distasteful.

Zolot defended the post recently saying:

“In Oakland, Asian people will call Mexicans that. A Mexican will call a black dude that. A white person will call an Asian that. Everyone calls each other that. I feel like that word is used in the low-income community more than anything. I can see if I was some rich crazy trick and I was just saying this because it’s hip-hop,” Kreayshawn said, “I was raised around this. Me and my sisters were all raised around this. People call me that. But personally I’m not flaunting it around.’’

Zolot rose to Internet fame after her “Gucci Gucci” music video was viewed over 2 million times, landing her a record deal with Columbia Records. Writer Timmhotep Aku recently slammed the rapper, saying “Kreayshawn is better laughed at than acclaimed.”
