While on the carpet for lasts nights re-opening of 40/40 Sports Bar MMG rapper Wale shared his thoughts on former label-mate Pill’s split from Warner Music Group. ” Personal is personal, business is business. I’m friends with people that I’ve fired, so I’ve been in the game long enough to understand [you need to] separate the two.”

Pill expressed his dislike of the way his career was being handled via Twitter in December “Radio and TV b4 I had a deal, none after and u ask why Pill ain’t blew all the way up. Artist sign deals, label doesn’t do shit for them or don’t even know to work the artist. time wasted.” According to MTV, Pill was never officially signed to MMG although he was featured on a number of projects with Ross and other MMG artists. Pill’s deal was with Warner Music Group and he’s in the process of terminating that deal and walking away from the MMG Crew. Pill had this to say about Maybach Music Group “I ain’t got nothing against none of them, nobody. It’s just the situation don’t work.” Wale also said “I still support what he’s doin’; it just didn’t work out on the business side … Everybody gets chances, though. Everybody gets second, third, fourth, fifth chances. I believe in Pill, and I’m sure Rozay believes in Pill, and we wish him the best.”

Andre 3 stacks, is stacking racks on racks on racks. The Atlanta MC has been named brand ambassador for Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler, Gillette’s new shaving tool. Andre is one of three brand ambassadors including actors Adrien Brody and Gael García Bernal. Gillette chose an eclectic array of representatives to be the ambassadors for the “Masters of Style” campaign based on not only their “tremendous” talent; but their strong identities and characters, among other things.

3 Stacks had this to say about his position as brand ambassador “I feel that personal style should always reflect who you are and be constantly evolving … Being part of Gillette’s ‘Masters of Style’ program was a natural choice for me because I enjoy the freedom of changing my appearance to suit my mood.”

Eve told TMZ to “expect a massive comeback.” The only ingredient missing is the LOX, they have yet to sign on; But X is very sure that will change once he speaks to them. X Factor’s Astro Inks Deal With L.A. Reid

15 year old Brooklyn MC Brian “Astro” Bradley of X Factor fame has signed a record deal with L.A. Reid and Epic Records. The Astronomical Kid was booted off the show in early December. Shortly after his dismissal rumors surfaced that he would join Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label. In an interview with MTV on December 5th Astro addressed the rumor saying “I have never met anyone from Roc Nation. I’d love to, but I’m not signed right now to anyone … nobody ever hit me up about that — just go on the Internet and it’s up there. But I’m not signed, as far as I know.”

Although he wasn’t the big winner on X Factor, Astro is in fact (In the words of Charlie Sheen) WINNING!!! In terms of the kind of deal he’s looking for Astro had this to say “… I just want to be able to release my music, do my movies, [and] everything is fair … I just want to be able to have fun doing it. I don’t want music to be a job for me; I want it to be something I’m doing for fun. As long it’s not a job, then you’re straight.”

No word on an Album yet; but congrats on the deal, and in the words of the kid himself “Dooope…”

Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi expressed her dissatisfaction of the 2012 presidential candidates at the launch of her Team Snooki Boxing press conference. Snooki chatted with Jo Piazza of the Huffington Post saying she would vote for ‘The Donald,’ “I thought Trump was gonna run … But he’s not, right? I would endorse him and vote for him.”

Celebrities have a knack for getting involved in politics and possibly swaying voter decisions, does Snooki have that kind of influence? With over 4 million followers on Twitter and the roughly 8.5 Million Jersey Shore viewers is it that far fetched? I think not… But according to the CNN.com, Donald Trump did change his voter registration from Republican to unaffiliated, just in case he was dissatisfied with the Republicans choice, he could then run as an independent. Only time will tell if Trump will go from president of the boardroom to president of the United States.

Are the Killa Beez buzzin? According to an interview with Hip Hop Blog, Wu member Rza said that he is currently on tour with the Wu, he made mention that he and the M.E.T.H.O.D. Man are in talks about working on an album together, “Right now I’m on tour with the Wu-Tang, having fun … As far as musically, me and Method Man are talking about going to the studio. We never got a chance to do another album since my first album. Maybe we’ll do another album together. Other than that, just rocking these shows and sh*t, having a good time and sh*t.”

When it comes to a Wu Tang Clan album, Rza says “As far as the Wu brothers, whatever we do, we do it. Sometimes we premeditate it, sometimes it’s just done naturally. I’m more in a natural mode right now…” Cryptic; but all Wu fans are patiently waiting for the Beez to reunite.

19 year old Gemma Barker of Staines, Middlesex, London was living a double-double life. According to the folks at Bossip, Barker disguised herself as young men in order to date her younger girlfriends who were 16 and 15 respectively. She created multiple Facebook profiles to bring to life her three alter-egos, Aaron Lamapard, Connor McCormack and Luke Jones. She also took the time to give her alters different looks to pull off her trickery. She would dress in baggy clothes, hats and hoodies to conceal her real identity from her friends and their families.

Barker’s other life started to unravel when one of her girlfriends removed ‘Connor’s’ hat while (he) slept only to discover that she was with whom she thought was her other friends boyfriend Aaron Lampard. The two young women grew suspicious and reported their suspicions to the police. Barkers true identity was discovered after she was detained and then stripped searched. Gemma Barker is facing sexual assault and fraud charges and could face up to two years in prison.

According to our friends over at HipHopBlog.com former Bad Boy artist Shyne has made his peace with Sean “Diddy” Combs. Shyne said “As far as Puff is concerned, that’s been a long time coming, he had reached out to me twice while I was in the pen, but I just wasn’t ready for it.”

Well it seems the time has come, the two reconciled after twelve years following the 1999 club shooting involving the rapper, Diddy, and his then girlfriend Jennifer Lopez. Shyne felt it was time to let bygones be bygones, he said that throughout the whole ordeal from the shooting to his nine year prison term, Diddy has always been positive and accommodating toward him. “I felt how I felt, I said what I said. In retrospect, when you looked at the way he handled it, he held it down, he wore it … he ain’t had nothing to say; always had good things to say. It was always, ‘Yo, whatever Shyne need, we got him.”

In the interview Longott gave her opinion on the differences between the two shows, saying “in ‘Basketball Wives,’ I thought they were always bickering about nothing. They didn’t really have anything else to talk about, everyone was just sitting around having drinks. In our show, there’s so much for everybody to gravitate to.” Apparently Tami wasn’t too impressed with Olivia’s synopsis about her show.

There’s no doubt that Michael Jackson was an innovator and an icon but his legendary status didn’t come without many scandals. Take a look back at Michael’s most controversial moments and remember the time:

14. “Artist Of The Millennium Award”

In 2002 at the MTV Video Music Awards Britney Spears presented a birthday cake to him for his 44th birthday and Michael thought that he was receiving a non-existent Artist of the Millennium Award.” Michael gave a speech: “When I was a little boy growing up in Indiana if someone told me I’d be getting the Artist of the Millennium award, I’d never have believed it.”

13. The Elephant Man’s Bones

In 1987 Michael Jackson placed a million dollar bid on the skeleton of The Elephant Man but supposedly did not win the auction.

12. Buying Out Paul McCartney

Michael Jackson made one of the smartest moves in 1985 by outbidding Paul McCartney on the rights to The Beatles catalog. At the end of the day Michael did sever a professional relationship and friendship with McCartney but generated a large sum of money from the purchase. Too bad he had to sell back the archive to Sony later on.

11. The Hyperbaric Chamber

Once upon a time it was rumored that Michael slept in a hyperbaric oxygen chamber to keep his youthful appearance.

10. Hair Burning

While filming a Pepsi commercial with his brothers in 1984 some on set fireworks set his hair ablaze causing second degree burns.

9. Date With Madonna

Yes, Michael Jackson dated Madonna once upon a time. The King of Pop hooking up with the Queen of Pop was probably a publicity stunt but it was one of his most memorable moments as well. At the 1991 Oscars the couple arrived to the show together.

8. Music Videos

Many of Michael Jackson’s music videos sparked controversy. The video for “Thriller” contained imagery of zombies and the death, which clashed with Jackson’s Jehovah Witness upbringing. After the video premiered he added a disclaimer before the video. Also, the video for “Black Or White” was banned and then re-edited after it premiered because of a violent scene at the end of the video where Michael smashes a car and grabs his crotch.

7. Performing In A Strip Club

Way back when, before anyone knew who Michael Jackson or The Jackson 5 were, they boys performed some of their first shows in a strip club in between acts.

6. Micheal’s Pets: Bubbles & More

Michael had some interesting pets at Neverland Ranch. He had a llama named Louie and most famously a monkey named Bubbles.

5. Kiss With Lisa Marie

At the 1994 MTV Video Music Awards Michael Jackson and then wife Lisa Marie Presley shared an onstage kiss that shocked everyone.

4. Martin Bashir Interview

Martin Bashir’s controversial 2003 documentary brought to the forefront a lot of Michael’s bizarre behavior and more details on his relationship with the children he cares for through his foundation.

3. Baby Dangling

Michael Jackson’s kids seemed to never have normal lives. His oldest children, Prince and Paris have been seen wearing strange masks most of their lives and hardly appear in public. The most bizarre moment with his children is when he dangled baby Blanket over a balcony in Germany.

2. Plastic Surgery

Michael’s appearance had changed dramatically throughout the years. His skin had lightened, his nose has crumbled and his face certainly does not look like how he looked when he was younger.

1. Child Abuse Allegations

The most shocking of all Michael’s moments are the child abuse cases that he became involved with in 1993 and then in the 2000s. The first case he settled out of court and then in the second case he was acquitted.

For most of the last 40 years, Nile Rodgers has been writing and recording the soundtrack to the lives of people all across the planet. As part of the legendary disco band Chic, Rodgers co-wrote and performed such classics as “Good Times” and “Le Freak.” He also wrote or produced hit songs for Diana Ross, Sister Sledge, and David Bowie just to name a few. In 1988, he provided the musical score to Eddie Murphy’s classic film Coming To America. In recent years, he’s worked with the likes of D’Angelo and Spike Lee as well as continuing to tour with Chic.

Rodgers recently revealed on his Facebook and Twitter accounts and his official website, NileRodgers.com, that he was battling an “aggressive form of cancer.”

On October 27, 2010, I found out I had aggressive cancer. In an instant, everything in my happy-music universe imploded. It was like Jaws was savagely eating me from the inside out. My biopsy showed that I had to make some important decisions… fast. After consulting with numerous doctors, I decided to have radical surgery to try and remove the cancer in its entirety. I told only a handful of people because I didn’t want to worry anyone, especially, my family around the holidays. I did everything as usual – as best I could – until one day I couldn’t. My hand had sudden muscle loss and a number of stressful events followed.

Rodgers tweeted that his doctors believe that they caught the cancer in time, but still has to return to the doctor for check-ups to make sure the cancer doesn’t return.

Rihanna Claims Tattoo Is Grammatically Correct

Rihanna might be smarter than we think. Apparently her tattoo is not wrong and says “rebel flower” instead of “rebellious flower.”

Okmagazine.com reports that Rihanna texted her tattoo artist explaining that people will think it’s wrong:

rebelle fleur translates to rebel flower, NOT rebelious flower, its 2 nouns so in that case fleur does not HAVE to be first! Fyi, cuz they will ask.

Ok Rihanna we guess you’re right.

Rihanna Commits Tattoo FAIL #2

Rihanna has another tattoo failure under her belt. This time her new neck tattoo is grammatically incorrect.

This in the Bajan’s second poorly translated tattoo. It’s supposed to read “rebellious flower” but for that to be grammatically correct in French, it should read “fleur rebelle”. Instead it reads “rebelle fleur.” I guess no one told Rihanna that in French you put adjectives after the noun.

FAIL.
