Everyone has said it, so I’m only reiterating…There’s MORE than sex to rap about…The MOST legit female rappers (in my book) never rapped about how good they could suck a dick or get fvcked and paid for it. Queen La, MC Lyte, Salt ‘N Pepa hell,even Heather B held it down for the female rapper. Lil Kim,Foxy and Eve kinda bridged the gap into the ‘FemCee Sexual Revolution’(along with Choice) and then we got flooded with the ‘Check Out What I Can Do With A Dick’ female rappers who were a dime a dozen and lacked any lyrical credibility.

You CAN be sexy and STILL spit FIYAH…at least that’s my belief…On the contrary to EclectiqueMami, I think a female that can REALLY drop knowledge and heartfelt lyrics would be good for the industry right now and maybe she could start a new ‘trend’…

…but that’s just me…

I stopped listening to female rap artist when Queen and Lyte stopped, so I can care less.

This holds true for both genders:
90% of these so called rappers were just gimmicks with no rhyme skills what so ever!
Sha-Rock haven’t rhymed since the days on Sugar Hill, and Roxanne Shante has a PhD but I bet they could still drop some ish better the any some of these lap dancers that got record deals after they blew brains on some wannabe thug!
