Is Dexter Isaac Lying About Shooting Tupac?

Yesterday Dexter Isaac wrote a formal letter to all who would listen claiming that he was the shooter in Tupac Shakur’s robbery at Quad Studios in New York City in 1994.

He states:

I want to apologize to his family [Tupac Shakur] and for the mistake I did for that sucker [Jimmy Henchman]….. I am trying to clean it up to give [Tupac's and Biggie's] mothers some closure.

We imagine at one time someone did Benita wrong and instead of getting even, she went home and put pen to paper. We can only assume that because she sings straight from her soul and she sings with truth. In fact, if you were brokenhearted, her music would be your best friend. Think of her as young Mary J. Blige infused with a little Keri Hilson.

According to her Black Planet Music page, Benita’s biggest influences are reigning queens Aretha Franklin and Beyonce and the Harlem singer currently reigns at local hot spots as the late night talent.

In a market where female artists dye their hair every color of the rainbow it’s nice to see someone who’s a little more au natural.

You don’t have to have the radio on for more than five minutes before Nicki Minaj is asking for “Your Love”, Drake is asking to “Find Your Love” and Trey Songz is talking about those “Love Faces” you used to make. With so much play time, these artists are obviously having a monstrously good time on the charts.

So it’s no surprise they’ve captured our attention and got us wondering what’s behind the pink wig and distracting muscles. What could they possibly be hiding? How about their real names? If the theory that resume-friendly names get the interview shouldn’t there be some truth to the fact that attractive names get the iTunes download or radio play? Even fame monster Lady Gaga knew Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta would take her but only so far.

We did a little digging and discovered a long list of hot celebrities who dumped their real name for a bright, chart-topping stage name. We wrapped them up in a fun quiz to see how many you can guess correctly. Some might stump you.
