With over 15 Million iPads sold in 2010-more than any other tablet computer ever made-many are calling the iPad the most successful product launch ever.  Doctors, teachers and students have been using the iPad, as well as those wanting veg out to “Angry Birds.”

“We’ve gotten off to an exceptional first year,” said CEO Steve Jobs, who went on medical leave in January but was on hand for the big announcement. “We’d like to build on that. What about 2011? Everyone’s got a tablet. Will 2011 be the year of the copycat? If we did nothing, maybe a little bit… probably not.”

The iPad 2 boasts an all new design, 8.8 mm thin compared to the 13.4 mm of the original iPad. “It’s thinner than your iPhone 4,” Jobs bragged.

It weighs 1.3 pounds and comes in two colors (black and white) and will be available on AT&T and Verizon. The iPad 2 also has a front facing camera, the same 10-hour battery life as the original and still starts at $499.

On the outside Apple has created “Smart Covers” that magnetically snap onto the iPad and on the  inside upgraded Photo Booth software that allows for streaming 9 different videos at the same time. There is also an iMovie video editing app for the iPad selling  for $4.99. But what you really wanted to know about was the new cameras. With the new “Face Time” app for iPad you can video conference between two iPads, between an iPad and an iPhone, or between an iPad and a Mac.  Chatroulette will never be the same.

The iPad 2 is Shipping March 11, 2011.

The original iPad debuted in April of 2010 and Apple has sold 14.8 million units of the device since. It was originally only available through Apple or AT&T but is now available at Verizon stores. The iPad 2 is expected to be available at Verizon as well. The original iPad sells for between $499 and $800, but there is no word on pricing for the iPad 2.

The iPad has grown in popularity amongst some DJs and producers thanks to apps like Baby Decks and DJ for the iPad where users can mix and blend their iTunes catalog on virtual turntables.

As I am a lover of Nissan vehicles, I already have a high appreciation and expectation of their cars, so when I was asked to test drive the new 2010 Altima 3.5 SR, I jumped at the opportunity to find out what Nissan is up to for the new year.

Of course, the first impression will always be the look of the car and after seeing it for the first time, I just KNEW I would look great in it, so The Altima captured my attention right away before I even stepped in the car. When I did enter the Altima, the interior was what I expected and I looked around for all the features and goodies and I noticed the dashboard loaded with the GPS Navigation system, the radio, DVD player and I was ready to roll!

With my job, I have to be on the move shuffling between interviewing celebrities, organizing events and of course, going to the office. What helps me in my day to day are the features in the Altima that makes my life easy. Of course, the ride itself is great, cruising the city streets was great as it felt like riding on a magic carpet. But what stood out the most for me, especially being that this occurs during my work day, was the tools included in the car. The GPS Navigation System helped get me to the various destinations I needed to be. As I was on my way to have a follow up meeting with an artist I interviewed, I was able to view the rough edits, on the DVD player (located on the dashboard) of an interview I conducted with the artist. When I arrived at the meeting, the edits were fresh on my mind and the meeting went much better based on me being able to look at the DVD in the car!

My overall experience with the Altima made my day much easier and I thank the Altima SR 3.5 for helping my day be productive!

Oh how time flies! A quarter-century has already passed since Michael Jordan first laced up a pair of his now legendary sneaker, the Air Jordan. With that said, Nike announced that His Airness’ 25th anniversary edition is scheduled for release nationwide on February 13th, 2010.

The 2010s feature a unique transparent thermoplastic urethane window, shaped as a basketball that provides the feet extra flexibility.  “[Jordan] said, ‘Wouldn’t it be great to see into the shoe, but not see everything,” said Tinker Hatfield, vice president of Special Projects/Design for Nike, about the TPU window.

The sneaker was also designed with a hinged light-weight toe layer which adds strength to the sneaker without losing flexibility. These latest Air Jordan will come in the Chicago Bulls colorways.

Jordan announced Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade would be the first to debut the 25th anniversary edition at the All-Star Weekend in Dallas this February. Flash is Brand Jordan’s newest member after inking the guard to an endorsement deal.

”The celebration of the Air Jordan 2010 and our 25th anniversary are the pinnacle of a year full of milestones for me,” said Jordan in a statement.

Last week Ford motors flew me down to Atlanta,GA to take a spin behind the wheel of their new flagship sedan, The Ford Taurus SHO. Boasting 365 HP and totally redesigned body it definitely doesn’t look like your uncle’s Taurus. In addition to a joyride downtown I was able to ask the designer of the sporty four-door, Earl Lucas, why someone should drop down close to $40,000 for this piece of American pride.

Ray J may have to get fitted for a Viking hat and clock cuz he’s beat Flavor Flav for most outrageous reality show stunt. According to several online sources, the R&B singer has sired a child with former For The Love Of Ray J contestant Monica ‘Danger’ Leon saying that she is three months pregnant with his child.

Apparently TWO forms of contraception failed the first night the two were intimate. “Toward the end of the first week of filming, we made love for the first time and we slept together every night after that,” says Leon.

Danger is now engaged to marry Nick Cannon’s brother Gabriel. Allegedly Ray J denies he’s the father and has stopped returning phone calls, but Gabriel has committed to raising the child as his own.

The news doesn’t stop coming just because it’s a holiday, so while many of you are spending the day out of work or school, we’re here at the office writing the stuff you’re reading while living it up in your underwear for the next few hours.  So why don’t the 21-and-over readers chill out with an “I’m going to take full advantage of my day off” celebratory drink? 1800 Tequila hit up 9 up-and-coming artists around the country for their “Essential Artists” campaign, intended to make that whole “starving artist” thing less of a reality for the super-talented (and boy, do we artists know that phrase literally).  Each bottle features one of the nine designs and, since only 1,800 bottles were made, notes the production number on the side. It’s the same delicious tequila on the inside, except when I’m finished with it I plan to keep my limited edition bottle (by artist Josh Ellingson, pictured left) on a shelf in my kitchen, college-style.

While this collection gets snatched up, 1800 is currently scouting more artists for their next campaign. Those interested can upload their art to 1800tequila.com. The limited edition bottles are only around until they run out, and since they’re so cheap at $34.99 a bottle, they’re not going to last very long.
