Nearly ALL of the music that has came out in the past 8 years have been from southern rappers, not Emcees, who’ve consistently demonstrated little to no lyrical creativity over beats that sound like there were equally little thought & time in creating it. Basically commercial rap has gotten too simple, too predictable, continues to follow the same formula, and with absolutely no mature substance. One other thing; How is it that “rappers” like Baby and Rick Ross can get on a mic and fill a record up talking about all the s**t they have and speaking about their own wealth that most hard working people can’t even relate to and could only dream about?!?
