Charlie Murphy’s Wife Dies Of Cancer

We are sad to report that actor/comedian Charlie Murphy’s wife, Tisha Taylor Murphy, passed away on Sunday December 13th after a long bout with cancer.

Murphy’s publicist released the following statement:

Tisha Taylor Murphy, wife of comedian and actor Charlie Murphy, passed away peacefully on Sunday, with family at her side after facing the challenges of cancer for the past two years. The Murphy family appreciates all the support they have received from friends and fans and requests privacy during this very difficult time.

The staff of The Urban Daily sends their condolences to Charlie and Tisha’s families.

    Oh my!!! Right before the holidays too (smh)! Although I don’t know Tisha Murphy this saddened me. She was a beautiful woman. My thoughts and prayers reside with the Murphy family during this difficult time.

    I am very sorry to hear that!!! My Condolences are with Charlie Murphy and his Family!!! May your wife rest in peace!! I lost a Grandmother to cancer so I can imagine how he must feel!! Although I don’t know her, she seems to have been a remarkable woman!!!

    I’m sorry Charlie Murphy for ur lost. I know how it is to lose someone to something like that. He takes the good and the bad. She’s not hurting any more she all in gods hands. Shes in no more pain and she is not suffering nomore. My heart goes out to u.
