When it comes to artists acting like Chris does, its no wonder that he has no hits on the billboard. The DJ was upfront and honest. If you want to be a leading station, you play what people want to hear. Obviously they don’t want to hear Chris, otherwise he would be on the billboards. I personally have never liked his music, mainly because of his pompous attitude towards people. Everyone wants to look back at the Rhianna incident, I don’t know how you as men were raised, but in my time, you never raised a hand to a woman, no matter what. He was an idiot then and he is an idiot now.

First off: I DO have a relative who beats on females. He has been ostracized by the WHOLE family for that. Those girls didn’t deserve to be beat and, no matter what Rihanna did, she didn’t deserve that beat down. He COULD HAVE walked away, instead. Next time he’s faced w/ that situation, I hope he’ll remember that his hands are not his only option.

SECOND point: When an artist comes to a radio station for an interview, it’s to promote their product. Deejays always want to be part of the “cool” crowd, so that deejay should have known that “Why aren’t y’all playin’ my s%#t?” translates to: “Why aren’t my tracks in rotation?” The deejay’s snarky, sarcastic response was TOTALLY uncalled for, but I understand why JIVE called to apology. ONE call is acceptable, but it was implied that there were multiple calls. UNacceptable.

The deejay should have been held accountable for HIS response, too. Where were Chris’ fans? THEY should have called the station in Chris’ defense, and to put the deejay on notice.

Good for him for calling that DJ and radio station out. Hits are made by stations playing songs over and over again. How many times have many started out not liking a song when they first heard it but because they begin to hear it over and over on a radio station the song grew on them and they found themselves singing and partying off of it. I didn’t like many of Beyonce songs when I first heard them but they played them so da** much they programmed me into liking them. When Jay Z pushed that woman and it circulated on Youtube no press was made of it and it faded away, Chris and Rihanna situation has gone on much too long.
