Even though it had no legs, the lawsuit had merit. Ricky Rosay is a fraud. He stole a man’s life; his name, his game, his persona, and is profiting from his thievery. If Freeway Rick now used any parts of Rick Ross’ music of stories about his own life w/ out permission and got paid, FR could be sued and he would lose because of copyright infringement. That’s a twist for yo’ a$$. I mean look, it’d be different if dude wrote raps ABOUT the man, but he writes raps AS the man and wants us to believe it’s his life. The case was thrown out because it has no merit, point blank and period!!! Look at the rapper 50 Cent and the actual gangsta from South Jamaica Queens “50 Cent”.. That is another example of the Ricky Ross and Rick Ross situation. You dont see anyone’s from the real “50 Cent’s” family or estate trying to sue the rapper 50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson for use of the former gangsta’s name, status, or drug dealing persona.. A judge would throw that case outta court also. You have to remember who is drawning up the court case people. Ricky Ross is a glorifed drug dealer who was used as a mule by the federal government to sell drugs dirt cheap within South Central LA, without any problems for years. Just so his profits could be used for federal supported small arms and private armies to overthrow South American Governments.. Now, this same guy wants a cut of a image he didnt create on his own but partly because of this countries’ government. None of us would have ever known about Freeway Ricky Ross if it wasn’t for that federal case on Congress that came out of his low level drug dealing that became a national court case because of the mutliple agencies that were on his direct payroll… Do some research people.. No court would allow a used black man who was a former federal sponsored drug dealer to re-coop monies or any profit from his former image. It’s not going to happen.. I go one step further, look at Freeway (the rapper from Philly and a muslim). His rap name is a shorted version of the whole “Freeway Ricky Ross” name. He just used the “Freeway” name and ran with that. But no one has ever came after him for using part of Ricky Ross’s name, b/c it wouldn’t hold up in court..
