Member Of City High Featured On A&E’s “Intervention”

Remember the R&B group City High that hit big in the early 2000s with the singles “Caramel” and “What Would You Do?”After the group called it quits in 2003, one of the members apparently fell victim to alcoholism.

The family of Robbie Pardlo staged an intervention while making Robbie think he was just participating in a documentary about addiction.

    I have always wondered what happened to the members of City High. It is sad when you hear stories like this but it is reality. It is a good thing that his family and friends have decided to intervene and confront him about his addiction I just hope he realizes he has a problem and he also has a people who will support him. Once he realizes he has a problem then he can begin his road to recovery.

    That Intervention show is depressing as hell. I watched one where some lady was such a drunk that she would drink bottles of mouthwash when she couldn’t get real liquor.

    I totally agree with you…who knows whats going through their minds which drove them to this, we only see a small glimps of what they are about…many struggle with alot more than we will ever know from being in the lime light…a few moments of fame can cuase year of mental pain.

    This guy is too talented to waste his life away drinking. He apparently never got over his failed relationship with Claudette from City High! Didn’t she dump him for the other group member?That had to suck but he needs to get over it , because he has a daughter and new lady that has been standing by his side for quite some time now! He totally disrespected her own Intervention! He also disrespected his mom because he can’t get over fact that his parents had split up ( his mom left his father) after 30+ yrs of marriage! he is so hurt on the inside ,that he’s a mess! I hope that he’s getting help he needs to stay sober!
