Hold on Casey, didn’t you advocate giving these schools MORE MONEY?? Isn’t it clear that MONEY is not the problem here, but rather, the people managing it? I mean, I was clear on that way before this foolishness, but hopefully this will wake people like yourself up to what the REAL problems are with the education system. How come you didn’t do a story on KC closing half of their schools by next fall. They just recently won 2Billion in a desegregation case and they are almost broke. One of the schools built an Olympic style/size swimming pool. That’s all they mentioned as far as expenditures, but damn, what school really needs that?? Wasteful spending..

I WENT TO FREDERICK DOUGLASS HIGH SCHOOL IN ATLANTA,GA LAST SCHOOL YEAR…AND WE HAD T.I. SPEAK AT OUR SCHOOL…OF COURSE EVEYONE WAS EXCITED THAT WE HAD A RAPPE COMIN TO OUR SCHOOL BUT WHEN HE GOT THEE IT WAS WAY DIFFERENT…DOUG IS HOME TO ALL BANKHEAD,BOWEN HOMES,AND HOLYWOOD COURT CHILDREN SO SOME OF THEIR OLDE SIBLINGS GEW UP WITH HIM…BUT WHEN HE GOT UP THERE AND SPOKE IT WAS NOT ABOUT DRUGS OR THE AP INDUSTY..IT WAS A MORE OF A DO THE RIGHT THING…IT WAS TO THE POINT THAT WE ACTUALLY IN AMAZEMENT AT THE IMPACT HE HAD ON SOME OF US…

Yes I can see he will make schooling the youngsters be so much more educational.He is a leader that can make teaching very interesting and very unique.Jim Jones keep your head and teach the truth that you know is based upon facts from your time and the days from when you were in school.I know he can be a scholar that knows only the truth.I can tell class with him will be comical and yet be on point.He is about being real and this is what the young one needs a teacher to bring life to the class instead of just one speaking from books alone.I believe in Jim Jones.Yes be the star you were meant to be.
