I’m neither a Wayne hater nor a Wayne fan, but I can say this. Wayne has had both ridiculous and hot lines in the past. Most of his songs hold no structure which leads to these ridiculous lines. But EVERYBODY knows that they have heard PLENTY of hot Wayne lines too. This wasn’t the worst line I have heard, someone just needed something to write about. And as far as sales and being a hot artist, Wayne got those sales off of his buzz, NOT because he made a hot album because The Carter III was and still is GARBAGE. I’m hoping Wayne can truly develop into a better and consistent mc as time goes on because he does have talent. And whether he is writing his lines or not, he’s the one getting credit for it. If someone else was writing for him I think they woulda stepped up by now, aside from Gillie (I heard how Wayne’s flow and his was similar on the Carter)

But to what I wanted to say, no one is so superior to another that he can claim someone elses work as not music. U have no idea the amount of time and effort it takes this person to create. Our music does change over time but don’t dare say the music of yore was so much better because even slick Rick himself rapped about killing. Hello people! We didn’t just wake up and have degrading music, every rapper that came before made it ok for the way rap is now because without them there would b no one after. The lyric makes sense to me. “I’m a venereal disease” would mean he’s a “sick” lyricist. And “like a menstrual I bleed” through the pen when he writes. So if you don’t understand lyrics then the lyricist is somehow dumb? Hmmmm……
