Maybe the title should say “Michael Jackson has cancer”……..this is the first time I have heard of this too!

Why is the title about a “hunger strike”? The man has cancer! I’ll be praying for Michael and his family…

He really needs to get some help. After going through all he has been through and on top of that he is battling cancer, he really needs to see a psychologist. Just because eating one meal isnt going to make him any healthier. It is to bad that he doesnt have the support around him that he REALLY needs. Only thing we can do is pray for him and his children for his strengh.

The title of this story is some what misleading.

People USUALLY go on HUNGER STRIKES when they are protestimg something or trying to draw attention to a worthy cause or plight.

He is NOT protesting or drawing attention to not eating, he simply believes that AVOIDING extra pounds will help keep his (this is news to me) “cancer” from progressing, and we all know that excessive eating can pack on the pounds.

The heading should have read something like “Cancer Has Michael Jackson on a One-Meal-a-Day Diet” or something along those lines.

now daz complete non-sense.. cancer wears u out it takes away alotta energy from u n along wit dat alotta weight.. my uncle died on cancer last year.. he was always a big guy around 300pounds.. da cancer had him lose 100pounds in less den 6month..
so whyever micheal thinks he can fight it by not gainin weight (which i cudnt c happenin by his regular diet anyway.. he always bn skinny) i hope he got enuff ppl n doctors around him dat help him n keep him from doin such bulls**t

My prayers go out to Micheal and family cancer is no joke. it may be that his illness is progressing and he taking medication that will inped his eating and cause him to lose weight. Therefore when we see him in public looking thinner there will be no shock. Often cancer patient have to change diet to help in recovery.

Oh well, a lot of people (in the industry especially) knew that he was sick. I guess what they are trying to do is let OTHER people see that rather than blame his doctor for killing him. The guy was so skinny he looked anorexic. He did have pre-existing conditions which led to his death. You can tell by looking at him and at his hands that he was ill. Unfortunately, people with Lupus don’t live very long. By the way, Lupus isn’t a cancer, per say.
