4)Bobby Brown.
Everyone thinks Bobby Brown used to hit Whitney Houston… but, according to Whitney herself, it was the opposite.
In an interview with the AP 10 years ago, Whitney said, “Contrary to belief, I do the hitting, he doesn’t. He has never put his hands on me. We are crazy for one another. I mean crazy in love, love, love, love, love. When we’re fighting, it’s like that’s love for us. We’re fighting for our love.”
3) Lionel Richie.
In 1988, while Lionel Richie and his wife, Brenda Harvey, were going through a rough patch, she caught Lionel with another woman. She started punching and smacking him, and ended up being arrested for spousal abuse.
2) Al Green
In 1974 Al Green was at his girlfriend Mary Woodson’s house. An argument ensued when Green told Woodson that he was not going to marry her (she was married at the time).
To get away from the fight Green went to take a shower. While he was in there, Mary took a pan of boiling grits and dumped them over the top of the shower door. It gave Al third-degree burns on his back, stomach and arms.Then she shot herself with his gun. After this incident Green felt it was time to get right with God.
1) Jackie Jackson
Jackie Jackson’s ex-wife Enid had caught Jackie having an affair with Paula Abdul. The affair came to a climax one evening in 1984, when Jackie had taken Paula to the movies. Enid drove to the theater and located Jackie and Paula. The angered Enid yanked Paula out of a Range Rover by her hair and dragged her across the theater lot while Jackie tried to pull his wife away. Jackie was still trying to help Paula when Enid got into her car and put it in reverse and ran into Jackies leg. The broken leg kept Jackie from performing on the Victory Tour. Three years later, the couple divorced.
