While Drake and Nicki were on their best behavior at Hot 97′s Summer Jam in New York, the Young Money members were a little more vocal about this beef conflict with Lil Kim a little further north in Connecticut.
Over the weekend Lil Kim called in to Philly ’s The Beat with Kendra G and discussed her issues with Nicki Minaj. Later that night, Drake and Nicki Minaj hit the stage in Hartford CT for 93.7’s Hot Jam. After they performed “Bedrock” Drake says, “Can I say something in front of Hartford?”. Drake went on to say:
“I know you be calling women b*tches in sh*t but I can’t say you the baddest b*tch. I can’t do that because I respect you, I love you too much and you look too beautiful. So I just wanna say you the baddest WOMAN to do this rap sh*t. I don’t give a f*ck what Lil’ Kim or nobody else is talkin about, you’re tha baddest chick to ever do this sh*t! ” Nicki turned around laughing, then came back and hugged him. He told her “I love you.” Then he left the stage.
In Kim’s interview with Kendra G she said, “If you’re gonna swagger jack somebody at least pay them respect…” and claims that Nicki disrespected her in an interview, though she doesn’t state which interview.

I’m not really sure what Lil Kim thinks Nicki Minaj is supposed to do. Certainly Nicki has taken more than a few style cues from The Queen Bee but Kim has done her own jacking of Minaj on recent songs, so who is really at fault here?
We’ll just watch this one play itself out.
An aside, did you all hear Drake say he wants to marry Nicki Minaj on “Miss Me”?
“I love Nicki Minaj/I told her I’d admit/ I hope one day we get married just to say we f*ckin did it/and girl I’m f*ckin serious/I’m wid it if you wid it…”
Though he says he’s serious I can only assume he’s playing around. But do you think they’d make a good couple, or is that a union doomed to celebrity divorce hell?
