Just when you thought the market couldn’t get more saturated with apparel bearing rappers’ names and likenesses, Lil Wayne reveals to Vibe Magazine that he’s working on producing a sneaker line. “I do have a shoe coming out soon but it won’t be Trukfit,” the New Orleans rapper told the magazine. “I have shoe with a well-known company. I just don’t want to say yet because Ihaven’t dotted the line yet. But it’s done.”
Weezy remained coy about which company he would be working with although he did confirm it wasn’t Nike or Reebok. When the Supra brand was brought up, Weezy was quoted as saying, “Uh-oh. Watch out.”
