While I applaud Beyonce on her career accomplishments I am not a fan hers nor an admirer of her as a person….No, I do not know her personally and only go by her interviews/media reports and what she choose to share with the public……I  do not agree with some of her choses she has made with her personal and professional life and if Houston is choosing to honor Beyonce that is their chose……..I will leave it at that!

Monument!  This is getting out of hand,  I can name so many entertainers more deserving, not only for their musical talent, but also contributions to society as a whole.  Particularly the singers/songwriters who’ve been at the forefront of various social/economic movements in this country!  Please she definitely gets a “ho sit down” on this.
And “recovering” from child birth, 1st I thought she had a natural birth, 2ndly since when is childbirth considered an illness to have to recover from (not unless there was a c-sec, or other complications).

Co-sign………I admire the entertainers who do contribute their time, money and effort toward helping those in need……..And I am not talking about writing a check out to a foundation.

There’s seems to be a break in the lines of communication because this is the second version of this story that I’ve read. First there was supposed to be a museum of some type which was to showcase Beyonce’ from the days of Destiny’s Child to present. I read that costumes, etc. would be put on display and now I’m reading this and it’s been reduced to a statue. Either way contributions will be made to several charities that she’s ALREADY supported so I’m sure all the negativity toward the project is unwarranted. I see that people are bringing up others who have fought for other causes but if those battles have already been won why is there a need to bring it up again? If people need reminding there’s plenty of information available. Give the woman a break. After all it’s HOUSTON’S to do this apparently. So be it.

The crazy part is, not a lot of people know Beyonce was born in Alabama!

She might have been born in Alabama but she def grew up in houston and as a houstonian I really don’t need to see a monument of Beyonce, really? I totally disagree and don’t support that!
