Diddy Says He’s Not A Career Killer

It’s a clear consensus throughout music land that signing to Bad Boy is like signing your life away to the devil. Diddy thinks everyone is stupid because he claims that he has done nothing malicious to anyone(we’re supposed to believe that?).

Lets see the artists that have been on Bad Boy that have FAILED or are MIA:

Carl Thomas, Faith Evans, 112, Total, G-Dep, Shyne, The Lox, Donnie Klang, Da Band, Danity Kane, B5, Mario Winans, Loon, Mase, Biggie Smalls, Dream, Cheri Denis…and I’m sure there’s more!

“There’s an off perception that needs to be addressed about me that I have ever robbed somebody or mistreated somebody. Or tried to be ruthless or whatever in this game. Like, all this year I’ve heard people say, “Where’s Carl Thomas, where’s Black Rob, where’s G.Dep? Where are these artists?” And for some reason they go ahead and equate that, cause those artists aren’t with me, that I’ve done something wrong or malicious or conniving. It’s something that I do have a problem with because they don’t have no proof that I’ve ever done nothing like that.

It’s a misconception. Especially someone who’s been brought up like me. I’ve been brought up to work hard for mine and never take from nobody. And to always try and help people. But people don’t understand this game that were in. You have a short life expectancy. It’s rare to a me, to be a Jay-Z, an LL, a Nas. That shit is a rarity. That’s not even one percent of the rappers. If you look at any artists that were on Ruff Ryders, where they at? If you look at any artist that was on Def Jam at the time we started, where they at? If you look at any artist that was on Roc-A-Fella, Jive, where they at? It’s not like anything was wrong with them. It’s just that you have a four, five-year average in this game. That’s just something I wanted to address.”

    Mr. Sean “Puff Ball” Combs is the epitome of one who has the intellectual capacity to recognize musical talent of others and manage to exhaustively exploit them in every possbile way. Then, Mr. “Puff Ball” has the audacity to continue to perpetuate negative stereotypes about the Black community while galavanting around the Zionists and other Whites who categorically control the “The Industry.” Finally, Mr. “Puff Ball” behavior is akin to that of a modren vanpire in which he’s sucking the blood(e.g., money) out of the Black community while living a life of luxury. It is my hope that Black people wake up to Mr. “Puff Ball” and other similarly thinking so-called Blacks in “The Industry.”

    lol @ Andre396.. U went in on Diddy. But I get what ur saying. He’s acting like its just a coincidence that his artists dont have longevity in the industry, or are one hit wonders. Its not all on them Diddy. If he didnt think they had the potential to be something great, why would he even sign them? Sounds to me like a hustle to stack his pockets while his artists go into obscurity.

    I personally believe Puffy is a career killer, Faith Evans, 112, The Lox, Lil Kim, and Mary J. Blige all were signed to Bad Boy in the ninety’s. And these artist managed to break away from Bad Boy; however, there’s are a lot of artists came from his camp and only had one or two records and you wonder where are they how???

    Where is Craig Mack ( Flava in your ear)?? Where is Total??? Look what happen to DA Band!!!! Look what happen to Shyne!!!

    Everybody he signed on his label had the potential of being very good artists far from a short life expectancy. He had top notch talent worthy of withstanding the garbage thats on the radio today. So did the illuminati put you up to this puff? Was it the fact that being a ceo of a record wasn’t enough you had to assassinate your top artist to have the spotlight to yourself? Or maybe stepping up & showing support for shyne was too much for you. You can visit the housenigga/coon lil wayne in jail but you couldn’t go see Black Rob When at one point Black ROb was holding down the label on his own lol You suck puff. Just be glad i couldn’t tell you this to your face cause i would you F****T!!!

    music is a business. puff does what is best for his business. no one forced anyone to sign contracts, so who is responsible in the end? do you really think puff would drop or hold back anyone that would make him money? not one comment on here is based on personal first hand knowledge, so lets stop the speculation people.

He insisted on this dumb ass ego blowing up greater than his artists. He’s an ego maniacal, narcissistic idiot, and as a boss, that ruins his artists. Doing shiite like making Mase wear a “Number 2″ Jersey, while diddy wears a “Number 1″ Jersey, in videos, clearly highlighted this idiot’s lack of respect for the real artists he had. So he just used them, the hot things at the time, and put his face all over them, and then moves on to another thing to latch on to, so he can stay relevant.

Everyone that he has signed up from Carl Thomas, Lil Kim, Total and as you all know many more where the hell are they? Somehow he still have his sloppy mouth ass on someone stage still saying “Take That” Hell I ran into Mace at the Lennox Mall in the food court looking hungry as a hostage so I know he is serial career killer. He may be decent as what he think a businessman is but not everyone feels that way and he knows that s**t.     i dont think he’s a career killer but he is kinda assholish. the way i see it is everybody is sayin all his artist aint nowhere to be found cus diddy did somethin to em i think is bs cus if they so good why couldnt they go to another record label and start over??? And look at some of the artists that bad boy has had over the years i mean s**t none of them were really all that good most were alright but i bet half of em nobody wouldnt even buy they cd today

    Wow…people really hate Puffy for some reason. I find myself commenting again as if I’m a Bad Boy advocate or something. I am no big fan of the dude. I do like some of his clothes but that’s about it. The fact of the matter is, he’s speaking the truth. Most of the artists from that era are gone. Where are the artists from Death Row, Ruff Ryders, and The ROC? How many artists truly make it past the sophomore jinx? How many artists have not been able to sell anything in the bootleg era? A lot of GOOD artists from back in the day, from many different labels, are no longer making music anymore. That’s just the way it is, and it’s unfair to blame one man for the failure of so many artists. Go back and look at their record sales. EVERY label sweeps their artists under the rug if they’re not selling. A few of these artists went to other labels and still didn’t do anything. Is that his fault too?

Marry J.,Lil Kim, etc. Now the B.B#2 people all have a issue with selling themselve and making a crossoverto other races. They were jamming but I feel it was do o a lack of touring.

    Just think about it. Out of 50 state in the U.S. how many cities in each state did each group or sing tour. **Please note touring is pocket money and if you did not write or produce you need to be touring like madd to put mone in your on pocket.

    Everyone show have tour min 4-5 cities in each state. Not encluding how unhumble these peope seem to get when they get a brake i doing their thang..
