Strippers Get Ready: Pole Dancing In The Olympics!

Usually you stop paying attention to the Olympics after the basketball game, gymnastics, and swimming, but would you turn the channel if you saw this?

Ania Przeplasko, the founder of the International Pole Dancing Fitness Association and others are pushing for Pole Dancing to become a sport for the 2012 London Olympics. Could we really see this happening?

    @critical 22- As far as I can tell, pole dancing and stripping are 2 different things. Yes pole dancing is involved in the act of stripping but they are not synonymous. This was interesting to me.If the person is clothed from beginning to end, where’s the stripping?

    Initially I thought, GREAT IDEA, but, then I asked myself, would I be ok with my daughter training to be an Olympic Pole Dancer? I Don’t Think So! I’d be proud for her to be an Olympian in any of the other sporting events currently part of the Olympics, so after some hard reflection on the matter – No, I can not support Pole Dancing for the Olympics.
