Some people put rocks and glass in there snowballs and throw them at people and cars so-I might have done the same thing too. And wet snowballs hurt…I guess whoever done it want do it again. As for the cop, I don’t think he should’ve pulled the gun out. However, he did not point the weapon at any one and was merely trying to clear the scene of immature adults throwing snowballs at vehicles. One person still threw a snowball even at the officer after he had already gotten out of his car. That’s just disrespectful and shows how white people think they can do anything they want. The cop really loves his job. I think he had to pull out gun because he was in plain clothes and no one would listen to him. He probably was just trying to prevent an accident from happening. People can’t drive and if your car get hit and you are startled and you see how bad the roads were… someone could of go hurt. If they were in the middle of a field someone were, I think it would be different.

You can tell that these were college students just by their behavior. Young people throw snowballs at car all the time whenever after there has been a snow storm. This is typical in the north.

The police offers should have just kept driving in his BIG HUMMER. And since he didn’t have the self control to that he should have at least stepped to one person and explain that they were hitting a city vehicle and that they are disturbing the peace by throwing snowballs at moving cars. I am actually for the officer in this situation. People need to grow up, driving is a privilege in this country, and so is staying safe. That could cause a serious accident/injury or even death.

Or was it kids, it didn’t say. I do think he should of have called for back up or something. He didn’t need to wave his gun, but hey who knows how he was feeling. I was in a similiar situation and on Father’s day last year, i was pulling out of a gas station and as i was trying to make a left someone swerved over and turned in leaving my car covering alot of the entry way. Well the car coming in from the left side, honked and flipped me off and started to curse at me in front of my kids. So i backed the hell up ( maybe not smart) and asked what his problem was and that i don’t appreciate him cursing at me in front of my kids (and yes they heard) and he said i took up the whole entry way, i told him that some guy swerved in and i had to stay like that until the traffic was clear to pull out. He kept at me and i told him i don’t appreciate him cursing at me in front of my kids over something so stupid and he apologized and said something smart to me and i got smart back and he then told me i better move on or else and pulled his badge out and flashed it. I said oh you big and bad now aren’t u and i decided to drive off. Was it wrong to back up….maybe cause then i have to deal with whatever happens, was it wrong for him to flash his badge in a battle he started….hell yeah…..i wasn’t going to let down cause he was wrong. I should of reported him but i didn’t have a badge number but if i wasn’t so pissed off i would of remembered to get his license plate number and call him in. Especially if he is with the sheriff’s office in my township cause they are all racist!

Hello all. I’m from DC and still reside in the DMV area. I have seen 1st hand how crooked the DC police are so I just cant side with them. How can you justify pulling a gun on people armed with snowballs? YOU CAN’T. It was a snowstorm and when it snows here people throw snow at everybody and the police know that. And somebody commented and said that they could have caused an accident by hitting cars with snowballs. WHAT?? People where driving like 10 mph up 14th st that day Give me break.
