Riding on no one’s nuts, NAS is right! Blacks arent gangsters we are oiginally tribesman. Europeans started that gang stuff and it’s funny to me how some of you claim that you’re mad at the way they treat us when in reality you treat yourselves in the same light! MEANING YOU HAVE EXCEPTED all that they have done to our forfathers and leaders by acting no better than them! That’s the TRUETH!

NAS has always been the one rapper who spoke his mind and kept it real, no rapper i can think of is more balanced in the messages they send, either hardcore street s**t, or thinking mans positive outlook…Nas is the best rapper alive period, when he talks ppl listen. Jay-z got his BLUEPRINT FROM NAS…

I love NAZ but how can you deny the influence of the violence in the music. If you wanna be real then keep it 100%. You need to stop glorifying the violence in the music. Rappers wanna be hard on their records just like the kids who listen and follow the hard stuff. The rappers don’t wanna be portrayed as soft and the kids don’t wanna be seen listening to the soft hiphop. Stop the self-destruction.

if there was no rap there would still be violence

  • http://www.blackplanet.com/panamaniak/ panamaniak

BOTH taurus and NYC are correct. If there were no rap music there would still be violence. But also there is another side that some rappers do glorify not only violence but ULTRA violence. But when some of these rappers get called on it they st-st-stutter step it. I like Nas too, but come on now,Nas! Of COURSE people are going to focus on the negative songs you make. I mean you take a dog and you have his owner, who beats him and then pets him and feeds him. Which memory is the dog going associate with his owner? The cold can of Alpo or the cracked ribs? Please people, the “I’m just telling what I see…blah, blah, blah”. Is DEAD! There are “people” in this country that think we are one step below a chimp and some of us are dead set to prove them right. Damn, wake up ALREADY! Obama can’t do it for you!

Yo Genove, don’t be surprised about 214representa’s comments. What do you expect? These folks here are the same people who think Dourrough, Lil’ Wayne and all the other cheesy rappers have talent. I used to respect the Southern rappers when Outkast, Scarface and the rest were showcasing their skills, but these new cats? LAME!!! It’s amazing to me how anyone can doubt Nas’ talent!! And no, Im not from New York, I’m from Chicago.
