Quinton “Rampage” Jackson recently lost his anticipated fight against Rashad Evans last month, but that’s not deterring him from doing what he needs to do to promote the upcoming “A-Team” film.

Jackson plays “B.A. Baracus,” the part made iconic by Mr. T during the ’80s television show. But in an interview with the L.A. Times, Jackson may have ruffled some feathers with his comments regarding acting:

“Acting is kind of gay,” Jackson told the L.A. Times. “It makes you soft. You got all these people combing your hair and putting a coat over your shoulders when you’re cold. I don’t want a coat over my shoulders! I’m a tough-ass [individual]!”
The response from the public, of course, was to label him as homophobic, anti-gay and a number of other names. Jackson was surprised by all the pushback, so he took to his personal blog to provide some clarity and justify his language:
“Let me teach you a little something about me cause I know y’all don’t really know me,” Jackson writes on his blog. “I am a black man from Memphis, Tennessee, who grew up in the South, where I faced discrimination my whole life. I know very well how it feels for someone to judge you for something you have no control over so having gone through that I know how it feels.”

Not it’s a sin to say gay? The Jews have made the gays as sensitive as they are in their efforts to bring down America along with their hillbilly Tea bag allies. They can say what they want to about the black man, but put down Jews and Gays and you have committed the ultimate sin! Free speech my ass…

Give me a break. get angry over something important. We all have opinions how are you all to decide what we can or can not say. Stop it, this is getting real stupid! Grow up and get thick skinned. Stop being such babies or go suck on a bottle.

This guy needs to go focus on fighting. It’s clear, by the last match, he’s too distracted with too much other stuff going on.

@odoggz. I’ll bet everything YOU can’t beat him. So focus on YOUR life and let a “real fighter” focus on what HE needs to do. That being said, you have a right to your opinion …no matter how asinine it is.

Being black and of a gay persuasion i can tell u all this hoopla over someone using the word gay negatively is really a white gay persons conplaint. Unlike black gays who have enuff on our plate dealin with race, don’t jump on this kind of stuff.

One thing we should know bout white gays is that they love being gay aka “a minority”. It gives them something to complain about so to speak. U see, whites have alot of bad karma and guilt do to them mistreating other races in history so bein gay r jewish makes them feel like they can escape it and jump into the category of “the oppressed”.

White gays also want to compare the gay rights movement to the civil rights movement and we all know there is no comparison.

The lesson here is that when whites have a chance to scream “injustice” they don’t hesitate.

the outrage at his comments is ridiculous. he’s simply stating aspects of the gay lifestyle that ain’t to his taste. for some guys, including heterosexuals, having your hair combed, and being preened and pampered ain’t so bad. hell, i don’t mind me a little R ‘n R myself. he’s just saying he ain’t down with it, and the guys most likely to subscribe to this are of the gay persuasion. wtf is homophobic about that?

I don’t have a problem with what he said if he meant one thing then he needs to say that…I am tried of people using gay to connote negative things (I guess gay is the new “Black” in this sense). It is a lazy way of communicating and leads to issues of backtracking i.e. having to go back and explain one’s true intent. If individuals could say what they originally meant, we wouldn’t have articles like this…

Why does he have to explain himself?? What happened to free speech?? Yet Neo-Nazis, for example, can can stand in public with a megaphone preaching hatred and the response is usually ‘it is their 1st amendment rights’.

Yep, now-a-days you can’t make reference to any thing ‘gay’ or low and behold here comes the Gay Society after your azz!!
