In my huble oppinion, he’s not really doing himself or the babies any good by staying with her. Being there and not being happy is not a positive environment for the kids to be in. It’s not really cheaper to keep her because what he is supposed to give her by court order would be less that what she is going spend either directly or indirectly. What I mean by that is he is going to spend more to cater to her percived needs and desires. I am going thru a similar situation, minus the net worth of course, and my expenses are signifigantly less than when I was living with my ex wife including what I have to give her. My income generating capibility is greater and I have piece and piece of mind. Even if it did cost me more to be single I would still do it because piece of mind is priceless. I have lived thru the alternative as a child and I was miserable many times and in my case it would’ve been better if my parents just cut ties with eachother. You can’t force anyone to be happy or to respect you. All you can really do is capitulate and live miserably. I wish Nas the best but if he’s not happy with this girl he needs to be his own man and bounce. Don’t allow her to use the kids as a negotiating tool or as a bondage device. I can give less than a f**k about Kelis because she’s just buddy hustling anyway. If she was capible of making an impact in the game like he did and amass the fame and fortune he did on his own, she wouldn’t need to be in his pockets like that. ok here’s the deal with this situation, anyone ever had kids? men ever dealt with the emotions of a pregnant woman? women we know how it can be to be pregnant. ok i can be wrong on this one but i believe the fall of the marriage could have been from her being pregnant. some women tend to become very unstable and hateful during that time. it seemed like before she got pregnant they were happy and doing just fine. the baby could have brought pressure on both of them emotionally. especially kelis. we all know she is a little extraordinary anyway. not to say anything negative about her. but being pregnant makes women tend to act in ways they have never acted before. like i said in just making a guess, i am no doctor or psychologist but i do know how pregnancy can cause stress on both parties. cause i know i hated my daughter’s father for no reason. but my son’s father was my best friend.. and it had nothing to do with what they did or didnt do. just the emotion that circled inside during my pregnancy. it happens! I wish them the best of luck either way this goes.
