More of Tupac’s lost interview. He talks about killing Thug Life, the rumors of him getting raped in jail, and reading books. He also talks about the similarities between himself and Bill Clinton.

Yea, I saw this interview some weeks ago. This was a good post Casey. I’ve always been a fan of Tupac since he started because he was ALWAYS real and he always spoke his mind from the streets, politics, family, community, and etc. with no restraints. People who speak their minds regardless of who likes/dislikes it will ALWAYS have that certain amount of respect from me and he was one of ‘em. He’s one of the greatest rappers to do it. R.I.P Pac. —{@THE TRUTH{@—

The brother always spoke the truth—One thing I want everyone to know is that we lost a Prophet—He had much wisdom beyond his years and many messages for all to hear. If people really listend to his song/words and understood them—They would have said (((((WOW)))) and became awakened individuals…In my opinion he was much more intelligent than those who hold degrees and or advanced degrees….I understood him as you might say we are realted but that’s another story—a long one. All in all: We lost a good man when he died.

  • http://www.blackplanet.com/Tried-N-True/ Tried-N-True

Tupac was the Marvin Gaye of our times as Marvins songs still carry a message i.e. “What’s going on”. And Tupa’s songs still carry a mesage if you listen to them carefully. Better yet: Find the words to his songs and red them as if you were reading a book—DEEEEP, very deep. :-)

I see why they killed you Pac… Your spirit is entirely too STRONG!

The people who set you up knew two things for sure,

1)You alone was the most serious threat they ever had to face.

2)Death was the only way to stop you, so they opted for your death out of fear for the loss of power they are now suffering anyway, I know we owe that to you.

Interesting about the time this interview happened.

We miss Tupac in LA. The West Coast will never be the same.

In 1996 I was in the 11th Grade and was deep on the East Coast s**t and The Notorious B.I.G. and everything about him. I did not have remorse for Pac when he was shot again and died. At that time i felt he was jus another Nicca trying to b hard. For two years i felt that way and just so happen in 1998 i started to research 2pac and studied him and his music. I watched all the doc**entaries and came to a serious Life Changing Conclusion, everything he is saying he was 110 percent right. This Video is the evidence i have been longing to watch for my own eyes. Its been 13 years since his death and i truly love the Man for all he has done for Black America and all of its culture. A lot of people dont know what 2pac was all about and what he truly stood for. He was more than jus a Thug he was an intelligent black male that spoke for the young black males that were strugglin to make it. He wasn’t one of these fake ass rappers that is all about that studio s**t he was the Realest Nigga Breathing. And i think it is a God Damn shame that they made a Movie about Biggie and he was no where near as successful as Pac was. Pac was the Real King of New York. And i hope that people take time and research all of his doc**entaries and see the man for who he was. Without him there would b no real niggas. I’ll b the first to vouch for his claims to be true. Do the Research! Its all there in his own words. Everything he says makes sense.

Clinton became preZ in ’92. this interview had to be in 95 or early 96, Tupac is real and the things he mentioned in this interview are real! We forgot our roles as men period, especially us black men.. We need to remember our roles as men and be men and then be kings.

  • http://www.blackplanet.com/courtneyR/ courtneyR

2 PINGRAM06…I agree.Tupac was to honest. And the to honest will always be a threat, always be a target because most wont be able to measure up.Men have forgotten their roles and so have women.Theirs a huge cesspool of alot of confused grown ups out here. Its down right scary..I truly do miss Tupac Shakurs honesty as a human being. He was going to tell the truth whether he made enemies or not.Tupac stood for something so pure.He was strong, compassionate, political, all man, intellectual,a conversationalist,,sensitive,, humble and more. All the right things as far as im concerned to be a balanced man and be a friend to women. He was balanced on all fronts. We need more like him and Im afraid his kind is a dying a breed.I truly do miss his type of man.

I just looked up the name Tupac and get this his name means Warrior or Leader, He was definetly God sent, And was here to fullfill a great purpose, just like all our other Great, Intellegent, Black Men, trying to do good for our race of people. When this happens it seem to always fall short by the waist side not being able to complete their missions. When will this ever end, IF our Black Men stand up, they have this hidden fear that they may be targeted and killed for speaking the Truth to all mankind.Sad, This is so damn sad!!!!!!!!

After hearing this portion of the interview, and then reading some of the comments, I’d have to say: those that posted comments and said thing like I didn’t understand what he was talking about, or praised thug life in the manner of liking thugs, or he found time to read a book, it makes no sense to me. How can you say that you praise the man when you don’t even know what he stood for? For him it wasn’t just about making good music, he was sending a message to us. If you are a REAL Pac fan, you would understand what I just said. Go back and listen to his albulms (all of them) and hear what he has to say. Yes he has anger, yes he praised Thug Life and them Outlaws, but that just shows his progression as a man, and where he was at that point in his life. His music is about the things he experienced in life and how he dealt with it. For all those that don’t know, Tupac Shakur is and was a very educated man behind the music. Like all “Prophets” they don’t live their lives very long because they speak the truth….

Tupac was a “MOVEMENT”!!! His artistry stemmed waaaaay beyond music. He was a poet, a prophet, an intellectualist, and a lyricist (among other things). The music industry is STARVING (thirsty) for artist of this caliber. I am a ride or die fan in life and death!!! For you fools that had the audacity to come of this page and insult Tupac…KICK ROCKS!!!!! He was the “crème de la crème” of Hip-Hop. Everyone else “pales” in comparison. They knew what happened to him and why. Biggie came out with the controversial song Who Shot Ya? and if u listen carefully on the second album he has a second song call Playa Hata which actually describes 2pac shooting and robbery. Everything Biggie did after that was strictly subliminal and if ur a Real Biggie fan then u know what I’m talking bout. Tupac was the only rapper that outsold every major rapper from the East Coast including Biggie, Nas, and Jay Z combined. I hate the fact that New York celebrates all Biggies accomplishments and turns away from Tupac. When it comes to the Top Greatest Rappers in Hip Hop Pac should have been number 1 and should have been crowned the Greatest Rapper of All Time especially since he is in the Guinness Book of World Records for Highest selling Hip Hop Album sold all time (All Eyes On Me). New York to me is a big Joke. And they are doing the same thing to the South like they did to Tupac and the West Coast, and that is hate on our Music and our Southern Style.

  • http://www.blackplanet.com/gbino04/ gbino04

If u do your research u will see that Suge helped start Bad Boy by letting Biggie and Puff get exposure on their shows When DeathRow was unstoppable. The unreleased material that Biggie and Pac had together was suppose to b on Thug Life Vol 2. album. And yes Biggie was apart of Thug Life. A lot of people did not know that. Biggie was Pac’s leutinant in Thug Life. That is what i found out when i researched this. Pac was responsible for helping Biggie get his exposure in New York and the surrounding areas. This interview coincides with the years of research into this. Biggie was even a member of the South Side Crypts whenever him and Puff came to California. They used the crypts for protection.

  • http://www.blackplanet.com/rajarabbit/ rajarabbit

Who shot ya? was recorded way before the 2PAC robbery. Actually believe it or not it was originally it was LL Cool J’s song. Big knew who shot and robbed Pac but just kept quiet. Puff daddy is a fagot, I never liked him. But much respect to BIG. His first album was classic, the second however had too much Puff Daddy infuence.

2PAC hit ALL aspects of life from partying, politicals, and uplifting songs. You will never see that again. Like people say he was the Marvin Gaye of rap that left way too early.

There are few people on here dissing Pac. But there are always ignorant retarded niggas out there so f*ck them. Much love to 2Pac. The best rapper ever.

Ok real talk… anyone who says 2Pac is garbage… jealous, he weak, blah blah, all y’all can burn in hell, cuz y’all obviously don’t recognize real music when u f**kin hear it!!! ok TRU Pac was not the best lyrically, TRU he did repeat himself a lot, but WHAT HE STOOD 4 and WHAT HE DID FOR THE MUSIC INDUSTRY… ok u have to realize one thing… 2Pac was so influential and so intelligent, that he took a NATION of people from a side he wasn’t even BORN ON… and made them follow him… u know who else did this… HITLER!!! I’m not sayin Pac was evil but he did read Hitler’s book, he did read Art of War, he did read Machavelli, that’s y he was so knowledgeable and political, becuz he was a genius… he knew that all he had to do was convince one nation to believe in what he stood 4 and the rest of the world followed suit includin me, that is y Pac is gr8 Pac isn’t gr8 cuz of his lyrics, Pac isn’t gr8 cuz of his battle abilities, he’s gr8 becuz he’s a genius and he knew what to say, when to say it, and what to do to put action into his words… I will never 4get the words he said on Ressurection… “I might not change the world, but I guarantee I will spark the brain that will change the world” I feel wholeheartedly he was talkin about me, cuz what I stand 4 and what I rap about r similar to 2Pac, no I’m not a Thug, but everyone doesn’t realize thug life isn’t what everyone thinks it is it’s an acronym it stands for “The Hate U Give Little Infants F**ks Everyone” that means if u teach a nation to hate each other, it f**ks everyone in the end… that’s what he meant by Thug Life… lastly Pac is not dead, I believe this becuz there is not enough evidence to prove he is dead… the autopsy photo is a fake, the last pic. he took in the car wit Suge Knight is fake, and he always said in all his songs when he dies BURY HIM… y therefore would his mother of all people… have him CREMATED??? but take it how u want I believe he is still alive, forreal… but anyways y’all take care… and 2Pac was and always will be the GREATEST!!! HOLLA

Are they all part of the same gang? Neighborhood? no they are part of the same secret society that every president since JFK was in. It is the secret society that JFK warned about before his death. We are being sold out as a people by the heros among us and whom speak for us and to our children. We must boycott these sellouts no matter how much we love them. Lately I haven’t been feeling that way because it’s become all about money and saying what sells records, which in its self is sad. I think it’s truly sad that the only thing a person got from that clip was how sexy the speaker was. I think the profanity helped translate the message to those that need to hear it. He we have an artist that took responsibility for his actions and kept it real about how he’s feeling. I’ve always been a huge Pac fan because I understood what he was on. I understood what came out of his mouth was his thoughts and emotions. I don’t agree with everything he’s said, but I have to point out the fact that he sold records that contained songs about more than partying and flossing. I suggest that you go back and really listen to his songs or even better, find the lyrics and read them. You’d be surprised by the amount of positive messages that he put out there. It’s sad his positive side was dimmed by the negativity in him. We all have negative thoughts, but very few are bold enough to share them and not back down when challenged. RIP 2pac aka Makavelli tha don!

Some people are a WASTE of effort trying to “educate” them on hip-hop or Pac. This man has left a legacy so PROFOUND that our children will be talking about him (my son does). Who cares that her curse…I mean really?!? There was a MESSAGE surrounding the words & few will honestly receive it. This generation is truly sad and their only frame of reference is GARBAGE “studio manufactured” artist and cheesy reality shows. They idolize bs like that but have the BALLZ to criticize Tupac. I agree with both I8ThaPussSoRite & xplosivewordzz. However, I am grateful that his music has touched/reached me in ways that will reside with me forever. I miss him & his music so much and (sad to say) doubt we will ever get talent like this again. Sad…truly sad!
