UPDATE: Kimora & Djimon Welcome A Baby Boy!

Kimora Lee Simmons and Djimon Hounsou are the proud parents of a brand new baby boy!

The Baby Phat CEO, 34, announced the big news on Twitter in a post on Saturday that says, “It’s a boy! Thanks to everyone out there for all your well wishes!”

Although a name and details of the birth have yet to be released, Simmons promised there will be “more to come” in her Twitter update – and there’s reason to believe she’ll keep her word.

Simmons took to Twitter to tell her followers, “It’s time !! No turning back! At hospital in labor right now!!”

In another update, she posted a photo of herself at the hospital and later wrote, “Having contractions now! Ooo-wee! It’s like WHOA!”

The new addition joins Ming Lee, 9, and Aoki Lee, 6 ½, Kimora’s daughters with Russell Simmons. The newborn boy is the first child for Amistad star Hounsou, 45.

    ok its cool and all that they had a boy, but why is she still rockin my man simmons last name. she is no longer married to him. After she played him and used him to get what she wanted. why isnt her last name Hounsou. She trippin and all the brothers fallin for it but i must give her props. she playin her cards right because as soon as she is done with Djimon he will be paying child support and spousal support out of his ass as well.

    She kept her last name the same because that is her daughter’s last name, and she has made a brand of being Kimora Lee Simmons. Besindes, Russell Simmons cheated on Kimora Lee. I don’t know why you’re not trippin off of the fact that Russell has had 3 girlfriends since the divorce. Get a life and stop hatin.

    I am so happy for Kimora And Djimon. I think she is really happy now. I have heard that Djimon is a very attentive mate and that is so important. I am sure the baby is beautiful..such a wonderful ethnic mix. Kimora is beautifuland Djimon is so handsome.
