The comment he made about Kanye was certainly true. The comment he made about the police officer incident was also certainly true. Obama is certainly not a “liar”! Having said that, the Pres needs to be more careful from now on. This comment was obviously suppose to stay in-house. He has people around him that are not for him that are looking to cause him trouble and controversy.

ZMWright, you don’t change the world by disrespecting people in the way the video suggests which is by insults and rudeness. If Kanye feels Beyonce is being treated unfairly, what he and like minded individuals should do is boycott the awards. Can you imagine an award show with no kanye, no Lil Wayne, no Jigga, no Beyonce? Who would watch and who would buy commercial airtime? You hurt these people by the pocketbook. But for him to do that he has to grow up and overcome his ego, and I get the impression that Kanye has to be at every awards show. Kanye can transcend who he is now if he can do that. I’m talking social icon here. Unfortunately, he is young. He is egotistical and has no guiding hand.

Regarding Joe Wilson.
As president of the United States Barack can’t be hurling insults across the floor. The least he could have said was please show me some courtesy. I have the floor, but he was caught off-guard and his flow was interrupted. The Joe Wilson affair was handled ok.

This whole fuss about the public option in health care is all about the money. The insurance companies no way, no how, want that public option. Without the public option in the health care bill it is meaningless because the next republican administration and their insurance lobbyists will reverse it all. All the regulations, all the deals, all the agreements.

The animosity against the public option alone should tell you it’s a good deal for regular folks, but it’s Barack, and they want him to fail. Without it he will have failed.
