Ok speaking as a Recovering addict myself with 11yrs clean and sober I do agree with Wendy on this point. I watched the interview and it was an (” I’m gonna take this time to Bash Bobby, make EVERYTHING his fault so I can get my squeeky clean image back, cause I got’s to sell some Cd’s ) Kind of interview and never once, NOT ONCE did Whitney own up to the parts she played in the whole 14yr union. People YOU CAN”T BECOME A FULL BLOWN ADDICT AS SHE WAS and still is cause she still drinks. Whitout having already been and addict before she even knew who or what a Bobby Brown was. Thats real talk those of us who suffer from the diease of addiction are PRE DISPOSITIONED TO Become one. Which means it is Heriditary, which means someone in Whitney’s family had the gene and passed it to her. Bobby didn’t twist that womans arm and make her do no drugs. Whitney has yet to take ownership and admit her wrongs. This is not to say that Bobby is not at fault for alot of things I’m more than sure he is and yes Bobby has admitted to doing drugs and getting high long before he even met Whitney. Now here’s my thing which I know she WON”T do it Now Oprah needs to let Bobby come on and tell his side it would only be fair because there are two sides to every story. Also that part in the interview where Whitney said her mother came with a Sheriff and a court order, ordering her into rehab. It’s a lie, I know this because at the height of my addiction my Mom tried to do it to me, and here in the state of GA, where I was born, bred and raised and still live to this day and was living here off and on when they were. You can’t court order ANYONE INTO REHAB IN THIS STATE if they are over the age of 14.

I really thought I liked Wendy until I listened to the interview of Whitney in 2003. I believe that Wendy wants to be Whitney and I think she has a unhealthy crush on her. Wendy claimed Wendy didn’t “own” being an addict but neither did she at first. She called herself an “ex” addict and I have always been told once an addict always an addict and it is an addiction that one has to fight every day. I watched the Whitney interview and thought some points were unbelieveable. She is probably not smoking now…I mean, there is no way she could clean up the way she has unless she has a reprieve from the cocaine. I have over 16 years clean from any drug (including alcohol, so I know Whitney should not be drinking but true many people stop using hard drugd and just drink…she said ” I have today” and that’s all she needs.. Suppose you are driving in your brand new car. The directions to a place that you’ve never before traveled to says that you are to turn right in the next 0.5 mi. What Wendy said is entirely true. I said it before I say it now, Bobby is so easy to hate it is so easy for the people to believe he was the cause of her downfall but she is the one who smoked her lips her lungs her money her craving her low self esteem. When she can say that, she is healing. She is using that as any addict does when they want people to give them another chance. It was, I had no job, or I had no where to live, I wanted to fit in, the excuses are just that, excuses. When you realize what was going on in your life that led you up to that point and made you vulnerable enough to fall into the abyss of whatever drug addiction or immoral lifestyle then you can begin to heal. He wasn’t the cause, he was your out, your escape from something else. Hopefully Whitney has already dealt with whatever that was at the same time she was dumping Bobby, otherwise in a short moment she will show the world it was her the whole time when she slips up again but without him to be the scapegoat.
