What Wendy said is entirely true. I said it before I say it now, Bobby is so easy to hate it is so easy for the people to believe he was the cause of her downfall but she is the one who smoked her lips her lungs her money her craving her low self esteem. When she can say that, she is healing. She is using that as any addict does when they want people to give them another chance. It was, I had no job, or I had no where to live, I wanted to fit in, the excuses are just that, excuses. When you realize what was going on in your life that led you up to that point and made you vulnerable enough to fall into the abyss of whatever drug addiction or immoral lifestyle then you can begin to heal. He wasn’t the cause, he was your out, your escape from something else. Hopefully Whitney has already dealt with whatever that was at the same time she was dumping Bobby, otherwise in a short moment she will show the world it was her the whole time when she slips up again but without him to be the scapegoat.

Why is Wendy fake crying? That didn’t look real at all. Secondly, she didn’t blame Bobby for her being an addict. The relationship just caused her to do more. Whitney had been doing drugs prior to the BodyGuard whatever that entailed. Whitney was just revealing how volatile the relationship had gotten. And believe it or not, there are many women and men who start smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol, and do drugs all for the sake of a relationship. Alot of people try things and unfortunately some can’t handle the euphoria at times. So, I say the breakthrough of the Oprah interview was for Whitney to admit she was an addict and it is one day at a time. Wendy you are a recovering hater……

It’s a little disconcerting to hear some posters here slam Whitney for “blaming” her situation on her man..I heard the interview, and took time to READ the transcript on Oprah.com…In that, I heard a woman facing her demons, staring them down, baring her soul to a cold and cruel world…She never said it was his “fault”..Instead she spoke honestly of what they did in thier life, and the impact it had on the people they loved, which included each other…One guy had the NERVE to say that “Evenutally leaving a situation that you created in the first place does not make you strong”..That makes NO sense; first, let’s simplify this, shall we? Suppose you are driving in your brand new car. The directions to a place that you’ve never before traveled to says that you are to turn right in the next 0.5 mi. You turn,but the problem is you made the right turn at 0.9 mi instead. You go down the wrong road a little ways, only to discover that it is full of potholes and mud as it recently rained. You also realize that it’s the WRONG ROAD…Do you continue down this road that is tearing up your car, or turn AROUND??? It’s your fault you’re on that road, because you made the WRONG TURN, so what do you do? Add to the mistake by CONTINUING in the situation that you’ve created, or TURN around, get to the right road, and congratulate yourself for recognizing your MISTAKE???? You see, LAST MAN STANDING TALL, the shame isn’t in FALLING or finding yourself in a bad spot..The shame comes for NOT RECTIFYING IT EVENTUALLY..So while you are mindlessly bashing someone for recognizing toxicity, realize that Ms. Houston could’ve continued to live with her husband and wind up, she, him, their child, as a really sad statistical failure of the black family, or WALK AWAY as she chose to.
Shame on Wendy for acting like some mindless, school-age meangirl ninny…I have no idea why that joke of a human being is chosen to represent blakc women as the best we have to offer..No intelligent conversation, so common sense, completely clueless, and her attitude towarde the Jena Six? REPREHENSIBLE….I, for one, was appalled at the way she dismissed these young men publicly, and didn’t indicate that she even sympathized with them if she didn’t want to do as every other responsible radio personality with clout (Baisden, Joyner, Harvey) did and support those young men..She did some idiotic rant about not being able to focus on the story because they brought this in themselves somehow..I was so glad that we cleansed Tampa Bay FL’s airwaves of her mindless drivel, and replaced her with Michael Baisden…I hate to diss another black woman, no matter how deserving, but she does look somewhat garish and manly..Tyler could just use her as Madea…
