His Aunt is right this kid has been through alot. They are young adults. Truth be told if my signicant other told me some stuff like she told him. It would be on and popping. I am surely not giving him props for whipping that ass. But, there would have been some s**t flying at her. Let’s be real you would be very very pissed if the person in your life did that. Be honest with yourself. Chris, honey you were wrong you made a horrible judgement call. I pray that you and Rihanna can get over this issue so that the media can get out of your lives.

do u think it’s right for a woman to hit a man when she wants to?…while i agree with what u say in ur comment, i am also a strong believer when it comes to equal rights…i feel that it is even more wrong for a woman to hit a man than the other way around, whether it’s a slap in the face or a deck in the eye…what u think about that?

I must say that my heart goes out to both of them during this time. First off, putting your hands on a female is just wrong. Now lets look at the troubled past of both of them. We know what is wrong and what is right and if the two of them want to remain together then there has to be some counseling done. The effects of coming up in an abusive home environment is tremendous and for those of us who have come through it with out physical scars the emotional scars are no joke. Once again not taking sides just being an advocate. I’ve come thorugh the pain of living in a home where my parents had knock down drag out fights and my mother bleeding from head to toe. I’ve lived through the affer affects (as an adult) of hearing a neighbor being abused and balling up in a fetal position aking for my ex-husband to call the police. And through counseling I reallized what my situation was and with that help and my faith in the Lord Jesus I am a whole person without the emotional scars that abuse will leave you. So I say to both of them admit what has happened, seek counseling both emotional and spiritual and know that my prayers are with you both…God can heal and he will delever…… Everyone else Stop feeding into the Bull and give them the support and wisdom that they need…..

It seems like that ChRis grew up in a dysfunctional home where he witness his step father abusing his mother, and that’s what usually happens in these situations. It starts a cycle. Its a psychological problem. I still will support Chris Brown as long as he makes a public apology and seeks help, so he deals with his anger in a productive way. We’ve only heard one side of the story so far.

I was not there, therefore I cannot place judgement on any one of them. Although I do believe , as I tell my children, that there is no right or wrong reason for physical, verbal, or mental violence. everyone has the right to be respected in all aspects. Yes there are even occurances of men being the victims of violent and jealous women. And even if these two were not directly physically abused, the were mentally and emotionally abused by their caretakers. Children who experience any aspect of violence usually tend to follow a pattern, whether it be mimicking the behavior or being drawn to people of that abusive nature, which may be the case for both of them. For those who are in abusive relationships and have children, please remove those children from that situation. You have to put that child’s needs above your own. We are our children’s first husbands and wives. We have to show them how to respect and accept nothing but respect. This issue with these two are a worldwide, household concern that needs to be addressed. I am glad that now instead of just focusing on the victim, they focus on the children involved and how it affects them. The cycle has to be broken. Cause’ man, woman, or child, abuse is all the same.
