Lil Wayne took an opportunity to spread some love during a very somber Grammy Awards weekend–to a point.

After celebrating the success of his label YMCMB with performances, plaques, announcements (Christina Milian is now signed to the label) and even a moment of silence for Whitney Houston, he couldn’t help but take a jab at Kanye West and Jay-Z.
“I ain’t really got nothing else to say, but uh…I met a bad red bone, I took the b*tch home, I asked her what she want to watch she said surely not the Throne,” spit Lil Tunechi, who immediately dropped the mic and walked off the stage.
This is the second such shot Weezy has taken at Jay-Z. On “It’s Good” from Tha Carter IV weezy rhymed “Talkin’ ’bout baby money, I got your baby money / Kidnap your bitch, Get that ‘how much you love your lady?’ money.”
The boast was supposedly in retaliation for a jab Jay-Z sent on “H.A.M” where he said “I’m like really half a billi n*gga, Really you got baby money / Keep it real with n*ggas, N*ggas aint got my lady money.”
We can only guess that Jay-Z has been more preoccupied with his own baby’s money to respond to Lil Wayne. The new dad just released photos of he and Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Jay sampled her voice for her tribute song “Glory”, making her the youngest person ever to chart on Billboard.
