I couldnt even watch the whole trailer, I hate remakes especially come on, Karate Kid is a classic, u mean to tell me will smith couldnt think of anything on his own for his son to do, he had to remake a classic like this, dont care to see it at all!

looks ok but they real ignorant for calling it “Karate Kid”. the movie takes place in China and they are doing Kung Fu / Wushu, not Karate lol.

Do your thing, make your money but I have to agree with some of the others…I’m sick of remakes (classic or not). I used to like Saw because it WAS original but now with 6 of them it’s a tad bit trite. I need to see something original, none of the same concepts, no more remakes.

It’s a dayum shame that you’re hating on an 11 yr old child! *SMDH* From what I’ve seen in the trailer the movie shows a lot of promise. The first karate kid is considered to be a classic martial arts movie in its own right, but in my opinion this one with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith is going to be better than the one with Noriyuki Pat Morita *R.I.P.* and Ralph Macchio. Grow up and quit drinking haterade it looks bad on your part. This karate kid is for a new generation and all of us who study martial arts can appreciate a remake of an old school classic.
