My new crush, Nicole Beharie (Habana Outpost, remember?!), sat down with The Urban Daily to talk about her role in American Violet – in select theaters today. While doing the interview, she dropped dime about maybe lacing up the thigh high boots, donning something leather and coming to my, err, I mean society’s rescue.

nah onyx, there’s waaaaaay more than that. do a google search for “the black superhero museum” and you’ll see an almost complete list of every black superhero and villian
there isn’t alot of black female or male super heroes in DC or MARVEL. DC: STEEL,JOHN STEWART(GREEN LANTERN),BLACK LIGHTNING,MR.TERRIFIC,VIXEN. MARVEL: BLADE,STORM,BLACK PANTHER,SPIKE,CAGE,JIM RHODES(WAR MACHINE),NICK FURY,BISHOP,HAWK. See what I mean.
