Denzel Gives To The New Mexico Boys & Girls Club!

During a break from filming The Book of Eli in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Denzel Washington got wind of a struggling Boys & Girls Club in nearby Roswell and donated $50,000 toward its efforts to stay open.

The two-time Oscar winner, also a spokesman for Boys & Girls Club of America, heard through local media reports that the club was expected to close due to financial troubles.
