VIDEO: Big Pun – The Legacy (Official Trailer)

Big Pun was one of the best to ever do it and if you don’t know check out his credentials. First Latino rapper to go Platinum, along with Heavy D and B.I.G. – he was a nice with the ladies and duke could go toe to toe lyrically with the best and brightest in the rap game.

But sadly, his time on this Earth was cut short when Pun died in 2000. His accomplishments and life was capture on film and the good folks at Czar are letting the world know about his “legacy” in this new documentary.

    Pun was great lyrically but, he was a drug dealer, a wife beater, and over weight. As minorites in America today aren’t we trying to over come EVERYTHING that rappers like big pun and BIG represented? I understand the struggle for a better life but have we now in 2009 set our sights higher then just trying to admire a rapper?

    The object isnt to glorify his flaws but to celebrate his accomplishments if he didnt change his life around and stop doing what he did and “make a way” for himself then he others could dream of surpassing him …someone has to set the bar and someone else has to challenge it yes in 2009 we should aim high but please let’s not forget who taught us where why and HOW to shoot.
